'Oh no,' Felix Vaughn thought. 'I wonder if Seraphina is ready.' His gaze flickered subtly toward the door, but his expression remained nonchalant. "Your wife? How should I know where she is?"
Caden Reginald's handsome brow furrowed slightly. Just as he lifted his foot to walk out, his phone rang.
"Gwen, where are you?" Caden Reginald asked softly.
"Caden, I'm at the gazebo in the garden. Come find me," Seraphina Ashworth's uniquely cool and clear voice came through the phone.
Before Caden Reginald could say anything, Seraphina Ashworth hung up.
"Caden, what's wrong?" Felix Vaughn asked, feigning ignorance.
Caden Reginald pressed his thin lips together. Ignoring Felix Vaughn, he strode out.
"Quick, let's go out the other way. Time to move," Jacks said quietly to Felix Vaughn after they exchanged a look.
