In Room Four, a man in a black robe sat in the head seat. A middle-aged man stood beside him. Both wore ferocious ghost masks, looking exceptionally terrifying.
"Lord Left Emissary, the people in Room One are with Patriarch Lantister. Should we continue to bid?" the middle-aged man in teal asked the robed man beside him.
"Not for now." The man in the head seat, addressed as Lord Left Emissary, reached up and touched the ghost mask on his face. His voice was hoarse. "The head of the Lantister Family is a formidable character. Now is not the time for a direct confrontation. If we ruin our lord's grand plan over this auction, the consequences will be more than we can bear."
"That—" The man in teal clothes couldn't help but shiver at the thought of their master.
