Mary propped her chin on one hand and looked at Lian.
"What do you think we should do?"
Lian waved his hand, dismissing the Maids clinging to him. "Send Nancy in."
The Maids looked to Mary. Mary nodded slightly. They got out of the pool, put on their clothes, and left with small, hurried steps.
Lian might be a bit of a scoundrel, but he still had his basic principles. He wouldn't do anything inappropriate to these completely obedient women.
To Mary, they were tools, but Lian saw them as living, breathing individuals.
He could tell from their status entries that they were a group of girls with tragic pasts.
Not being driven by primal desire to the point of losing his humanity was probably what set him apart from the true nobles of this era.
A Maid soon brought Nancy in.
She shed her Maid's uniform and stepped into the pool.
Both Lian and Mary found the sight pleasing.
