Blue Moon Territory.
In the church of the Golden Goddess.
Many nobles from the Blue Moon Territory and Green Shade Territory, and even some commoners, had gathered in the church.
They had all come to witness the engagement of the century.
But the truly powerful and influential nobles were not present. They still couldn't accept the teachings of the Golden Goddess. They believed in Tiger, the one true god of this world, and had intricate ties to the Church Court, making them unwilling to take a step that would defy divine will.
So, they had been invited to Blue Moon Castle instead.
Blue Moon Castle was where the engagement ceremony would ultimately be held.
Lian and Catherine were to exchange vows in the church of the Golden Goddess, then lead everyone back to Blue Moon Castle for the celebration.
However, just as Lian and Catherine were about to exchange their vows, an unexpected objection was raised.
