It was as if a fissure had been pried open in Nancy Stuart's closed-off heart, allowing a beam of light to shine in.
She looked at Lian Moria as if she had found the knight from the High Priest's prophecy, the one who could save her. She slowly extended her hand and placed it on Lian's.
"Save me, Knight."
Although Lian followed the Knight's Path, no one had ever called him that before.
Nancy Stuart's appearance, on the verge of tears, was enough to break anyone's heart, making them want to hold her in the palm of their hand and protect her from all hardship.
"Her Highness Princess, have you decided to make a deal with me?"
Lian asked rationally.
Nancy Stuart nodded slightly. "I am willing to offer everything I have in exchange for a chance at salvation."
Annie and Dora were both stunned. Nancy Scalia was actually the last surviving member of the Stuart Kingdom.
