Iris Dalton didn't even leave behind the strange trinkets, slip dresses, and lace lingerie. She packed them all up.
When she had the time, she would express ship these to Valerium to give the Monahan family elders a little surprise!
Once all the upstairs guest rooms were cleared out, Iris went to the study. First, she emptied the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and cabinets. Whether they were useful or not, she took all the books, documents, and ornaments. Then she took the office desk, chair, computer, floor lamp, and even the water dispenser and massive potted plants. Finally, she took the entire row of large bookcases.
She didn't plan to list the bookcases for sale. Instead, she would take them to the farm to set up a reading room for Tyler Kwan and his lackeys. Reading more in their spare time would enrich their lives and improve their cultural literacy.
(Tyler Kwan: The Mercenary Corps doesn't want to read. Do not disturb!)
