"Mom, you guys go down to the first floor and wait for me," Iris Dalton said, urging Leona Vaughn and Vivian Morton to leave.
"Iris, just come home with Mom first. We can discuss the Monahan family's matter later." Making a wasted trip today, Leona had gotten a very bad feeling from the Monahan family.
Even though Iris wasn't her biological daughter, she didn't want the girl coming to the hospital every day to wait on someone hand and foot.
Vivian remained silent. She gripped her phone tightly, looking entirely unsettled. Assuming the girl had been frightened by the Monahan family's overbearing aura, Leona shot her a rather dissatisfied glance.
