Holly tried to pull her hand away, but he only held on tighter.
"How do you feel? Does anything hurt?" Tristan Sterling asked anxiously, his eyes scanning her from head to toe.
"What did the doctor say? The baby…" Holly asked, her eyes turning red as she instinctively clutched her stomach.
She had felt so dizzy and groggy, so awful, that she hadn't had a chance to ask the doctor about her condition.
All she remembered was the sharp pain in her stomach when she fell.
The last thing she saw before passing out was Sharon Yates rushing back and coolly kicking away several venomous snakes.
"It's okay, it's okay. The baby is strong. Nothing's wrong at all," Tristan Sterling comforted her in a soft voice, gently patting the back of her hand.
"Really? You're not lying to me?" Holly grabbed his sleeve, her eyes red as she questioned him.
'If something happened to the baby… then what about Candice…'
She couldn't bear the thought.
