Tristan Sterling was seething with frustration.
But he didn't dare voice his anger.
His handsome face was a grim, shifting mask of fury, making for an ugly sight.
Holly Sinclair noticed but chose to ignore it completely.
She was no longer the fool whose world revolved around him, so his feelings were far outside her realm of concern.
"I want to go ashore."
Ignoring Tristan Sterling's distress, Holly Sinclair spoke calmly.
Her indifferent expression was like a sharp sword, plunging deep into the man's heart.
"Holly…"
"If it's inconvenient for Mr. Sterling, that's fine. I'll swim on my own."
She cut him off before he had a chance to ask her to stay, her voice growing colder.
With that, she turned to leave.
"Holly!"
Tristan Sterling quickly grabbed her.
