On the sixth floor, a faint light flickered in the dark like a will-o'-wisp.
"Yvonne Thorne, what the hell do you want?!"
Holly Sinclair was being held hostage, a cold, sharp blade pressed against her neck.
Her breathing was unsteady with fear, her voice so hoarse it was nearly broken.
"I want to live!"
Yvonne was behind her, her voice seething with resentment through gritted teeth.
"If you want to live, why are you kidnapping me?" Holly was both terrified and baffled.
The last time she'd seen Yvonne was when she and Vivian Linton had teamed up to injure her hand.
Later, she heard Yvonne had been sentenced to three years for assault with intent to injure.
'Shouldn't she be in prison?'
'She escaped from prison?!'
The thought sent a chill down Holly's spine.
If Yvonne blamed her and was seeking revenge, Holly feared she was doomed.
