The night Sean Quinn was declared dead, Stella Lockwood went to the Pavilion of Harmony to see Alan Shea.
Alan Shea had also just returned. He had seen the ball of light fly away, like a shooting star flashing through the city.
At that moment, he sat cross-legged in his antique-style study, burning incense. He watched her hurry in, travel-worn, and poured a cup of tea. "Sit," he said. "I know why you've come."
Stella Lockwood's face was ashen. She was in no mood for tea. Her voice tight, she asked, "Where did he go? I saw him turn into a streak of light and fly away... He told me to wait for him. Alan Shea, you're the only one who knows what this is all about!"
"He has returned to the Mystic Void Realm," Alan Shea answered frankly.
"What is the Mystic Void Realm?" Stella Lockwood asked earnestly.
"A very distant place." His expression was melancholic, his fair face lost in thought. "It's a place completely different from here."
"How is it different?" she asked again.
