At 12:15 PM, the meal of three dishes and a soup was ready. Sean Quinn brought the food to the table while Stella Lockwood set out the bowls and chopsticks. The two of them shared a sweet, lovely meal, then washed the dishes and cleaned up together. These were the most ordinary household chores, but they held a special warmth when done by a couple in the first blush of romance.
They'd look up, their eyes would meet, and a unique affection would flow between them.
"What now?" After cleaning the kitchen, Stella Lockwood turned to the man staring intently at her. His gaze had been growing bolder and bolder lately.
But she didn't find his focused gaze annoying in the slightest. Instead, it filled her with an inexplicable sense of pride.
"Watch a movie with me... Come on, let's go to the home theater... Oh, right, I got you some popcorn... I had Missie Frances stock up. There's fruit tea for you in the fridge, too..."
