Clouds drifted across the sky. She opened her eyes, taking in the strange scene before her, and wondered how she could have possibly slept for so long.
Megan Kane shook her head, a dull ache pulsing in her temples. She had only meant to take a quick nap, but when she opened her eyes, the sky was already dark.
She couldn't understand how she had slept so long.
Most importantly, no one had come to wake her up the entire time.
She decided to stop overthinking and went out to see what was going on.
"Why didn't any of you wake me? What are you all doing? And where's Jason Forrester?"
Megan Kane's temples were still throbbing. Now that she was awake, the person she was looking for was nowhere to be found, and she had no idea where he had gone.
'Besides, there wasn't much to say between the two of us anyway. It's better to just stay calm and move on.'
'All this talk is getting us nowhere.'
