Brada followed Ophelia absentmindedly, touring all the shops along the enclosure wall. As they walked, his initial sheer boredom gradually gave way to genuine interest.
"The goods in your shops are surprisingly comprehensive."
Ophelia nodded. "That's exactly the purpose behind building these wall shops. My original intention was to eliminate the need to scour multiple trading markets just to barter for a single item. I want my shops to carry as much variety as possible, ensuring that anyone who comes here can find exactly what they need."
Hearing this, the look in Brada's eyes shifted as he appraised her. "That's not a bad idea at all."
Because the Holy Capital was inhabited exclusively by members of High-level Tribes, everything they needed had to be imported from the outside. As a result, acquiring any item required a waiting period. If the Holy Capital had shops like these, there would be no need to wait. One could simply take a stroll and get whatever they desired.
