"Mother, please don't send Lobak back."
Wendy, having heard Lobak's inner thoughts right from the doorway, hurriedly ran inside. "Mother, there are other little beastmen in the Tiger Clan Tribe who will bully him too. We can't let him go back."
Hearing Wendy's rapid, chirping cries, Lobak looked slightly confused.
Having finished cleaning up in the kitchen, Tyler returned to the dining room and also cast a questioning gaze toward Ophelia.
Klein slowly took a seat nearby. "Ophelia, is there some sort of secret about Wendy?"
Tyler narrowed his eyes at Klein, noting that the male's perception was entirely too sharp.
"Ophelia, we are already mates, so I don't want you keeping things from me.
"Otherwise, if there ever comes a day when you need my help, I'll be caught off guard." Klein showed no signs of anger, discussing the matter with a solemn expression.
Ophelia pondered for a moment before speaking slowly. "I suspect Wendy has the Mind Reading Technique."
