The butler hurried forward. "Miss."
Qin Nuo backhanded him across the face. "What kind of job are you doing? The Medical Alliance defected to Snow Country, so why didn't you tell me?"
The butler replied, "My apologies, Miss. I only just found out myself."
Qin Nuo slapped him again. "Useless! What do you do all day? You can't even keep an eye on people!"
The butler clenched his fists. "I'm sorry, Miss. It was my dereliction of duty."
His submissiveness appeased some of the anger in Qin Nuo's heart.
The butler was an old man who had watched her grow up. If not for the mountain of problems she was facing today, she wouldn't have taken it out on him.
Qin Nuo raised her head haughtily. "Forget it. I won't hold you accountable for your failure this time."
"Now that the people from the Medical Alliance are gone, they must have left some medicine, canned food, and nutrient packs behind. Send someone to their base to retrieve them."
