The four men, their bodies battered and near death, shielded Bai Su behind them.
The power in Bai Su's Spirit Sea was exhausted; she couldn't squeeze out another drop of energy to heal their wounds.
Her face was pale, and she could barely remain standing before she slumped to the ground.
But Fei Mo's words forced her to rally what little strength she had. "What do you mean?"
Fei Mo giggled. "Little bunny, stop struggling. Look at these Beast Husbands of yours. Do they still have the strength to protect you?"
"Seeing how much you cherish them, it almost seems a shame to take their lives."
Bai Su panted as she sat up, pressing down on her right hand, which had started to twitch uncontrollably from exhaustion. "I asked what you meant. Why today of all days? What's so special about today?"
Fei Mo beamed. "It's the day you die, of course. You couldn't possibly think the great Dark God would stand by and watch you grow ever stronger, only to one day chop off his head, could you?"
