Chapter 8 - episode 8

The Secret Beneath the Palace

Three nights had passed since the Black Order attacked the palace.

Yet Ava had barely slept.

She stood alone in the throne room, staring at the black symbol carved into the stone wall.

The words beneath it still remained.

TYLER IS DEAD.

Ava had ordered the guards not to remove the message.

Something about it disturbed her.

Not because she believed Tyler was alive.

She had watched him fall.

She had felt the weight of the dagger in her hand.

She had watched the light disappear from his eyes.

Tyler was dead.

But if he was dead, why would someone use his name?

A soft sound came from behind her.

Ava turned.

JC stood near the doorway.

"You are awake again."

Ava sighed.

"So are you."

"I was looking for you."

"You found me."

JC walked toward her.

For several seconds, neither spoke.

Then Ava looked back at the wall.

"Do you believe Tyler is alive?"

"No."

"Neither do I."

JC studied the symbol.

"Then someone wants us to think he is."

"Why?"

"To frighten us."

Ava shook her head.

"No."

JC frowned.

"What?"

"This isn't fear."

She walked closer to the symbol.

"It feels like a warning."

JC examined the carving.

"About what?"

"I don't know."

Suddenly, a small sound came from behind the throne.

Ava and JC turned immediately.

JC drew his sword.

"Who's there?"

Silence.

Then—

Tap.

Ava's eyes narrowed.

"Again."

Tap.

This time it came from beneath the floor.

JC lowered his sword slightly.

"The sound is coming from below us."

Ava looked toward the throne.

"There is no room beneath here."

"Are you sure?"

"My father never told me about one."

JC walked toward the throne.

He ran his hand across the stone floor.

Then he stopped.

"There."

Ava approached.

"What?"

He pointed.

A thin line crossed the floor.

A hidden door.

Ava stared at it.

"That wasn't here before."

JC looked at her.

"It may have been here before the war."

Ava knelt.

There was a small circular mark in the center of the stone.

She touched it.

The floor suddenly moved.

A loud grinding sound echoed through the throne room.

A section of stone slowly opened.

A staircase appeared.

Cold air rushed upward

As the fight continued, Kael gained the upper hand.

He struck Ava down, her weapon falling from her hand.

"This is where your story ends," he said, raising his blade.

But before he could strike—

An arrow flew.

Ic.

Kael staggered slightly.

Ava seized the moment, rising with strength she didn't know she had left.

"For my people… for peace…"

She struck.

Kael fell.

THE END OF WAR

The battlefield went silent.

The Black Order, seeing their leader defeated, began to retreat.

Some fled. Others surrendered.

For the first time in a long time…

There was no one left to fight.

Days turned into weeks.

The kingdoms rebuilt again—but this time, stronger and wiser.

No longer separated by fear, Armstrong City and Crunk Kingdom became true allies.

Ana ruled as a Queen of strength and compassion.

Ic stood beside her—not just as a warrior, but as her King.

Berry and Zyane brought unity between families and lands.

King Morale, now older and calmer, finally laid

Tyler's story… Kael's revenge… the war…

All became history.

Lessons written in time.

That power without justice leads to destruction.

And that true strength… lies in unity.

One evening, as the sun set over both kingdoms, ava stood with Ic overlooking the land.

"Do you think it's finally over?" Ic asked.

Ava smiled softly.

"Yes… this time, it truly is."

The wind blew gently across the fields.

No cries of war.

No shadows.

Only peace.
