Shamena shot Venti a vicious glare before guiding Ren Kai upstairs.
They reached a luxurious room on the third floor.
"My lord…"
"Would you like me to stay?"
Shamena looked at him with burning admiration.
Ren Kai was momentarily speechless.
The temptation was real.
"…No."
He answered calmly.
A beautiful fiancée at home should not be betrayed.
"If you change your mind, my lord…"
"I'll be next door."
"Any elf in this tavern is yours to command."
Shamena said softly.
Her cheeks flushed as she looked at him.
"Alright. You should go."
Ren Kai turned away.
Looking any longer might weaken his resolve.
"Good night… Lord Rexasis."
Shamena gave him one last lingering look before leaving.
Ren Kai sighed.
"The tragedy of being a good man…"
If I married two women, would people call me a scumbag?
