"Kyra, Vorth-you will lead hunting parties into any interesting dimensions we pass. Gather resources, eliminate threats, keep our army sharp."
The starlight being and demon-blooded slave nodded in unison.
"The rest of you will train your divisions. Perfect the techniques I've given you. Develop new ones. Grow stronger."
"And you, master?" Varus asked.
Kafu's gold-red eyes blazed. "I have ten thousand years to perfect everything. The Yan Sen staff. The Monkey King staff. The golden sword world. Every technique, every ability, every power I possess. By the time we reach Universe 2, I will be ready for anything."
