Tempest and Mexyn talked for a little while longer about her mysterious forbidden love. It felt just like Tempest was back at home. Gossiping with a girlfriend.
It surprised Tempest how much she truly enjoyed just talking with her. Even when she was back on earth it had been a long time since she'd just been able to talk to someone who wasn't Sam. She thought she had a friend in Riley but that didn't turn out to be true on account of she being the one who was having an affair with Tempest long-term boyfriend.
"So, I guess we should get to the point of my visit? I do enjoy talking to you but I'm thinking Dron might want to come inside sometime soon." Mexyn looked over to the window. Dron was still outside but he'd passed by the window a few times to check in to see if Mexyn was still there. At least that is what Tempest thought.
