Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Precious Potatoes

Mina, seeing Lysandra descend, immediately stopped chasing the bunny girl and waved a greeting with a wide smile. At the same time, Lulu, red as a beet, quickly pulled her skirt back onto her hips, adjusted her chest wrap, and gave a deep, respectful bow, stammering a greeting under her breath.

Mina, without a second thought, ran up to Lysandra and proudly puffed out her small chest.

"Didn't I bring us great servants?" she asked excitedly. "Not only do they all have such impressive busts, but there's finally someone to play with! The castle isn't so empty and lonely anymore."

Lysandra measured her with a cold gaze and sighed heavily, a crooked smile forming. "You only took them because they have big breasts, didn't you? Admit it, you little pervert."

Mina actually tripped in surprise and began to stutter hilariously, trying to deny it. Her gaze fell on Lulu, whom she had already grown genuinely fond of.

"That's not true!" she shouted, pointing at the bunny girl. "I really like playing with her! Lulu, tell her!"

Lulu, seeing Mina's encouraging gesture, quickly nodded. "That's right! I also really like playing with Mistress Mina!"

Lysandra shook her head, but a shadow of a smile lingered on her lips. A moment later, however, she grew serious and looked Mina straight in the eyes.

"I don't have a problem with you playing," she began, and Mina was about to jump for joy when she suddenly felt Lysandra's icy hand press her lightly toward the ground. "But no sex. Remember, I won't tolerate forcing subjects to satisfy your desires. You will not sexually exploit them just because they are weaker."

Mina snorted and stomped her foot on the floor in a huff. "I know the rules! Who do you take me for?" she shot back, but when she saw Lysandra's dispassionate, piercing gaze, her confidence suddenly evaporated. "I remember them, really!" she added quickly, nearly falling over. "I promise I'll never force Lulu into my bed. After all, I have Kala and you for that!"

Lulu froze hearing those words. Her face took on a strange expression as she slowly realized exactly what kind of demons she had come to serve.

Before the situation could get any more awkward, the rabbit girl did something that surprised both succubi. She walked up to Mina and took her in her arms, cutting off her foolish explanations. She hugged the small demon to her chest and then looked boldly at Lysandra.

"You don't need to worry about Mistress Mina," she said with respect, but also an unexpected seriousness. "If I ever feel uncomfortable, I will certainly inform her. And since I am her private maid, I will take care of her as best I can so she doesn't do anything unnecessarily stupid."

Lysandra raised her eyebrows in surprise. She hadn't expected a common rabbit to have enough of a backbone to stand so close to them and speak such words. She glanced at Mina, who, taking advantage of the opportunity, was inhaling the scent of Lulu's breasts with a blissful smile, and then moved her gaze back to the maid.

"Since you have enough courage to speak to me like that..." Lysandra stated in a grave voice, "then from today, you are personally responsible for this brat."

Lulu was stunned for a moment, but quickly regained her composure and nodded. "I accept this duty, Great Mistress."

Mina finally struggled to pull her head out of Lulu's cleavage and started waving her arms. "Hey! Don't settle things without me! I'm here too, and I have an opinion!"

Lysandra didn't let her finish. With one swift motion, she grabbed Mina by the scruff of the neck and pulled her close, burying her face in her own bust so firmly that the small demon could only kick her legs helplessly.

"Be quiet, little one," Lysandra cut her off, looking at Lulu. "You stay quiet when the adults are talking."

When Lilith and Varg reached the Fields of Spirit Cultivation, the werewolf chieftain nearly tripped over his own paws. Before his eyes lay a sight he could not comprehend: hundreds of goblins working in perfect order, and towering over them were gigantic mountains of potatoes that looked like golden hills.

Graaz was immediately at Lilith's side, falling to his knees with such force that his bones rattled against the dry earth. "O, Most Magnificent! Your radiance makes the tubers grow faster than mushrooms after rain! Your presence is..."

"Yes, yes, Graaz. Great job," Lilith cut off his tirade with a flick of her hand, not even looking at him. Her gaze was already fixed on the trade panel and the next "piles of gold." "This is Varg. His pack needs food. Settle the quantities and transport. I'm going to check the harvest quality."

As soon as Lilith walked a bit further away, Graaz slowly stood up, brushed off his robes, and sighed loudly, as if shedding the weight of an acting performance. He looked at Varg with a curious gaze.

A few days ago, Varg would have mocked the old goblin, treating him like a pile of trash, but now, knowing that Graaz was the right hand of this demonic goddess, he cowered and adopted a respectful posture.

"So..." Graaz began in a dry, official tone. "Exactly how many kilograms do you need so your wolves stop howling from hunger?"

While the subordinates settled the details, Lilith strolled between the heaps of vegetables with a blissful smile. Every potato was hard currency to her, a brick building her power. She approached the edge of the massive field where the goblins were laboriously sowing the next 10,000 seeds from Izera.

Suddenly, her gaze caught a strange movement over one of the smaller heaps at the edge of the field. Lilith blinked once, then twice.

"What in the devil is that?" she whispered.

From the sky, like miniature bombers, a group of strange creatures dropped down. They looked like slimy green toads, but instead of jumping, they possessed pairs of membranous wings resembling those of bats. One of them, the largest and most brazen, dug its sticky paws into a choice potato, pushed off the ground, and began to fly away low over the dirt.

Lilith froze. She rubbed her eyes, but the vision did not disappear. Flying toads... were stealing... HER... POTATOES.

In a split second, the atmosphere on the field shifted drastically. The air around Lilith began to vibrate with purple energy, and the ground beneath her feet cracked. She began to grind her teeth so loudly that Graaz and Varg broke off their conversation, sensing the approaching storm.

"Really..." her voice was unnaturally low, dripping with a fury that grew with every heartbeat. "You really dared to steal my precious potatoes?! My gold?!"

The echo of her furious scream rolled across the entire territory, making the goblins fall on their faces, while the toads began to flap their wings in a panic.

"DIE, YOU PARASITES!"

With a powerful snap, Lilith unfurled her Monarch wings, kicking up a cloud of dust, and shot toward the end of the field like a black projectile, slicing the air with talons ready for a bloody slaughter.

No potato could be snatched with impunity.
