The Western Supreme Kai narrowed her eyes in disgust. "Hmph. It's that brat, the Supreme Kai. I could smell that filthy, sanctimonious divine scent of his from a mile away!"
"Mother... what should we do now?" Xicor asked. "Should we destroy the Earth? And is Son Goku truly dead?"
"Don't be impatient, my son. Those Saiyans will definitely be back. And when they return, Son Goku will eventually show himself. I know their kind all too well."
Lila wasn't worried in the slightest. Earth was their home; where else could they possibly run?
Xicor nodded and sat down on a nearby boulder, staring up at the sky with an unreadable expression.
Meanwhile, on the Sacred World of the Kai, Kibito Kai let out a long sigh of relief as he landed with Gohan and the others.
Xicor was simply too terrifying. Just being near him made Kibito Kai feel like he was standing on the edge of an abyss.
"Hm? The Sacred World of the Kai?" Vegeta muttered, looking at the familiar landscape.
"Kibito Kai... thank you for saving us," Son Gohan said, before collapsing onto the grass.
The pressure Xicor had exerted was immense—so great that Gohan hadn't dared to let his guard down for even a second, fearing he would be wiped out in an instant.
"Hmph. What good is running?" Vegeta growled. "That bastard is still on Earth!"
"I might have a solution!" a voice called out.
"Ancestor?"
"Elder Kai?"
Everyone turned to see the Elder Kai approaching with a serious look on his face.
"I can temporarily seal him away," the old Kai explained. "However, it will only buy us time. He is far too powerful for a permanent fix."
"Seal him?" Kibito Kai looked at the Elder Kai with clear skepticism. His gaze said it all: You? With your old, fragile bones, sealing Xicor? You'd be pulverized before you could finish the first chant.
Smack!
The Elder Kai slapped Kibito Kai across the back of the head. "Idiot! I'm going to teach you the method. You'll perform the seal with the help of these Saiyans. That man has divine blood in his veins; the Z Sword possesses a special property against deities. If we catch him off guard, we can pull him into the blade and trap him!"
"But Ancestor, didn't Gohan break the Z Sword during the training with Majin Buu?"

The Elder Kai delivered another slap. "I said you were stupid, and you're really out here proving it, aren't you? Of course I've already prepared for that!"
"Once Xicor is sealed, we can find a way to bring Goku back. Do you understand now, you blockhead?!"
Smack!
He couldn't help but land one more hit on Kibito Kai's head for good measure.
"I see... but how are we going to find Mr. Goku?"
The Elder Kai looked like he was about to cry at the sheer incompetence of his descendant. He sighed deeply. "Have you forgotten that the Namekian Dragon Balls still exist?"
"Oh! Right!" Kibito Kai's eyes lit up. "Earth's Dragon Balls might be gone, but the Namekian ones are still there!"
"Alright! In that case," Gohan said, standing up with renewed resolve, "we'll distract Xicor. Lord Kai, you find the opening and seal him. Then we head for Namek!"
Goten, having recovered, looked over at Trunks. "Trunks, let's fuse!"
"Fusion?" Kibito Kai turned his gaze toward Vegeta and Gohan.
Vegeta let out a cold snort. "Don't even think about it. We already have a plan. Aside from Kakarot, I refuse to fuse with anyone!"
Vegeta... is Kakarot really your only true love?
Kibito Kai sighed. "What a waste. If Mr. Vegeta and Mr. Gohan fused, they could probably beat Xicor in a straight fight."
Vegeta simply turned his head away. Fuse with Son Gohan? Don't be ridiculous. His body—and his fusion—belonged to Kakarot.
As Goten and Trunks performed the Fusion Dance, a flash of light filled the area.
A handsome young man wearing a short Metamoran vest appeared before them. As soon as he arrived, he began to boast arrogantly. "Xicor? Please. I can take that chump down all by myself!"
"Hmph. You better not drop the ball, kid, or you're in for it," Kibito Kai warned, his expression grim after receiving the sealing technique from the Elder Kai.
"Alright everyone, it's all up to you!"

In the next instant, the group reappeared on Earth.
The moment they arrived, Xicor sensed them. "Oh? You're back? Did you come here specifically to die?"
"Interesting. A new face. A helper?" Xicor sneered.
Gotenks was immediately incensed by Xicor's arrogance. "Hmph! Xicor, your time is up! Let the Great Gotenks finish you off!"
"HAAA—!"
Gotenks roared as he powered up. His eyebrows vanished, his hair grew into a massive golden mane, and golden lightning crackled around his body. His playful expression turned into one of cold intensity.
Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks had arrived!
Because he was a fused being, even at Super Saiyan 3, his power was on par with Super Saiyan 4 Gohan and Vegeta.
Xicor merely laughed. "Amusing. I thought you brought a secret weapon, but it's just more trash!"
"Hmph! Take this! Super Galactic Donut!"
Gotenks raised his hands, firing rings of energy that looped around Xicor.
Xicor blinked. What on earth is this? He had never seen a technique like this in his life.
As the donuts circled him, Gotenks clenched his fists. The rings constricted instantly, binding Xicor's limbs tightly to his body.
"Now!"
"Kamehameha!"
"Galick Gun!"
Gohan and Vegeta seized the opening, unleashing their signature blue and purple energy beams.
"Hmph! You bugs are really starting to annoy me! HAA!"
Xicor flexed his muscles, shattering Gotenks' donuts by raw force. He reached out with his bare hands to intercept the two incoming blasts.
For a moment, the three of them were locked in a stalemate.
"Hey! Don't ignore me! Kamehameha!"
Gotenks added his own beam to the struggle. Sensing the combined pressure of the three energy signatures, Xicor's expression finally turned serious.
"Damn it!"
The combined force actually pushed Xicor back several steps. Kibito Kai's eyes brightened.
"Now's the time!"
Shred! He appeared directly next to Xicor. "Be sealed, Xicor!"
"What?!"
Caught completely off guard, Xicor was hit directly by the technique. He felt himself locked down by a terrifying divine power. His internal energy was suppressed, and his entire body was forcibly dragged into the Z Sword held by Kibito Kai.
The scene left even the Western Supreme Kai stunned.
Since when were the Supreme Kais of this era so... underhanded?
"You bastard! What have you done?! Give Xicor back!" Lila shrieked in a fit of rage.
Kibito Kai ignored her fury. He instantly used Instant Transmission, taking Gohan and the others away from Earth once more.
Lila stood alone in the silence, her face contorting. "Hmph. I can feel it. That seal won't hold Xicor for long. But no matter... Son Goku should be appearing very soon anyway..."
