Vegeta frowned as he looked at Majin Buu. Is this really the monster that terrified the universe? He looks... like an idiot.
"Hey, fatso," Vegeta barked. "So you're the famous Majin Buu? Fine. I'll be your opponent!"
Majin Buu's attention snapped toward Vegeta. He didn't know much, but he knew he hated being called fat. That was the ultimate taboo.
"Buu!"
The pink monster let out a shrill cry. Steam began to hiss violently from the holes in his head and arms, and his Ki surged upward.
"Hmph. Interesting. You don't seem very bright, but your power is the real deal."
"Then let's try this! Haaa—!"
Vegeta instantly transformed into a Super Saiyan and blurred forward, launching his first strike.
BAM!
A fist the size of a sandbag slammed directly into Majin Buu's doughy stomach.
BOOM!
The sheer force sent Majin Buu hurtling backward.
"Hya! Da-da-da-da-da—!"
Vegeta gave him no room to breathe, following up with a relentless combo.
Bang! Pow! Boom!
"Incredible..." Supreme Kai watched, his jaw dropping. "Mr. Vegeta is actually suppressing Majin Buu!"
He couldn't believe it. This was the same Majin Buu that had slaughtered the gods, yet a mortal was pushing him back.
"It's not that simple," Goku interrupted, his brow furrowed. "Look at his body. Something's wrong."
CRASH!
As Majin Buu was hammered into the ground, a massive cloud of dust rose into the air.
"This guy's body... it feels weird..."
Even during his flurry of attacks, Vegeta had noticed the anomaly. Every punch felt like it was hitting thick gelatin or fruit jelly. While his strikes had impact, most of the kinetic energy seemed to be absorbed and neutralized by the monster's elastic skin.
Pshhh—!
The steam venting from Buu's head intensified. His tiny eyes narrowed, glowing with a dangerous light.
"That hurt... I really, really hate you!"
"HAAA—!"
Fwoosh! Fwoosh!
A violet aura surged around him, and Majin Buu's Ki began to skyrocket at an alarming rate.
Zip!
A blur flashed past Vegeta's vision. Majin Buu appeared instantly in front of him, swinging a pudgy fist directly at Vegeta's face.
CLANG!
Vegeta met the blow with a counter-punch of his own.
Bang! Boom! Pow!
The two engaged in a high-speed collision in the sky.
"Hya! Take this!"
Their fists clashed again and again, sending violent energy ripples through the atmosphere.
"So... so terrifying..."
The Supreme Kai watched the exchange, trembling. He felt like he was witnessing the most horrific battle in history.
As the fight progressed, Majin Buu's terrifying learning ability began to manifest. At first, he was just a punching bag, his body warping under Vegeta's strikes. Then, he moved into passive defense. Now, he was starting to counter-attack, slowly turning the tide and beginning to suppress Vegeta.
"His learning speed is insane," Goku noted, his battle-hardened instincts picking up on the shift immediately. "He's downloading Vegeta's attack patterns."
"This is bad," Gohan added, a bead of sweat rolling down his temple. He was worried Vegeta might get too arrogant and slip up.
SMASH!
Sure enough, Majin Buu caught Vegeta off guard with a heavy ground slam.
"HOO! HOO! HOO!"
Majin Buu bounced in the air, waving his arms and thumping his chest like a triumphant Great Ape.
Whoosh!
Vegeta recovered mid-air, tucking his legs and spinning several times before sticking the landing on a nearby mountain peak.
He looked up at the celebrating monster and thrust his hands forward.
BOOM!
A yellow energy wave tore through the air, vaporizing Majin Buu's lower half. Before the smoke could even settle, Vegeta unleashed a literal hailstorm of Ki blasts.
"Hya! Da-da-da-da-da—!"
The legendary "Prince's Tactics" was in full effect.
"That's a staggering amount of energy..." Supreme Kai shielded his eyes and retreated. "Majin Buu can't possibly survive that, right?"
"No," Goku said, his expression grim. "The energy is immense, but Buu's Ki hasn't dropped at all."
As the smoke cleared, Majin Buu's silhouette emerged once more.
His rotund body was riddled with holes and craters, and his legs were completely gone. He looked like a tattered piece of bubblegum.
"Hmph. 'Majin Buu'? You're nothing but a joke! Hahahaha!"
Vegeta laughed, relishing the sight of the mangled demon.
"It hurts! It really, really hurts! You... I really, REALLY hate you!!!"
Majin Buu's body snapped back into its original shape in an instant. Then, he exploded. A massive surge of violet Ki expanded outward, accompanied by a deafening roar!
BOOM!!!
"What?!"
Vegeta's pupils shrank. He immediately crossed his arms in a defensive guard, his power surging as he ascended to Super Saiyan 2.
Turles reacted just as quickly, deploying a shimmering Energy Shield to protect Goku, Gohan, and the Supreme Kai.
A colossal mushroom cloud rose from where Majin Buu stood. The shockwave leveled the surrounding landscape, turning mountains into flat plains.
As the energy dissipated, Vegeta lunged forward. Before Buu could even recover his composure, Vegeta's fist buried itself in the monster's stomach.
WHAM!
"You damn fatty! You actually gave me a scare there," Vegeta growled. "But this time, I'm going to turn you into dust. Let's see you regenerate from nothing!"
Golden light flickered through the sky as Vegeta unleashed a brutal, high-speed assault. He blurred behind Majin Buu, slamming a hammer-fist onto the top of the monster's head.
CRACK!
Vegeta didn't let go. He reached out and grabbed the pink antenna on Buu's head, yanking the monster toward him.
Holding onto the antenna with his left hand, Vegeta used his right hand and both legs to unleash a savage barrage on Buu's torso.
Thump! Bang! Thwack!
The sheer force of the blows began to tear Majin Buu's body apart.
"Go to hell!"
Vegeta hurled the mangled monster into the sky and gathered every ounce of his Ki into his palms.
"FINAL... FLASH!!!"
A massive golden aura erupted. The concentrated energy formed a brilliant, crackling sphere between his hands.
WHOOSH!
A titanic beam of golden light roared upward, consuming Majin Buu's entire body.
BOOM!!!
The Final Flash triggered an explosion of atomic proportions. A gargantuan mushroom cloud pierced the stratosphere, and the sheer vibration of the blast caused the very tectonic plates beneath them to groan and shift.
"Such... such horrific power!"
The Supreme Kai was once again rendered speechless, his body trembling at the sight of the devastation. By this point, it was clear that he was woefully out of his league.
