Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: June Wants Revenge, Treat It as a Deal...

e," Riku replied casually. "That is just how things are. To put it plainly, if they want to stay, they stay. If not, we will see. If it really comes down to it, I will just let them have a good sleep or add a century or two to their lifespans, uh..."

Riku shook his head as he spoke. 'I forgot. Once the Cosmo is fully awakened, a lifespan of one or two hundred years is normal. But then again, that is not really important.'

Riku did not care about such things. He preferred to be open rather than secretive.

"I see..." June fell into silence. She bit her lip slightly and removed her mask.

"Mr. Riku!" After a moment of silence, June suddenly asked, "I want revenge!"

"Revenge, huh?" Riku said with a hint of emotion. "You can, but I will not help you, and neither will Saori. If you become strong enough to reach that level, you can take your revenge. If you cannot, no one will help you. Milo protects the Earth, so Saori will not move against him."

June's master was Cepheus Albiore of Andromeda Island. He was very strong. Among the Silver Saints, Riku knew that Albiore, Mayura, Orpheus, and Rigel were the strongest.

However, Albiore's death was quite frustrating. While fighting Milo, he was sneak-attacked by Aphrodite and died. After that, Andromeda Island was wiped clean. For an orphan like June, who grew up on Andromeda Island and saw Albiore as a father and the others as siblings, how could she accept this?

Now that Sanctuary had changed, all she wanted was revenge. Previously, the so-called duty of protecting the Earth and peace weighed heavily on everyone, preventing them from acting rashly.

"I will work hard!" June said firmly.

"June..." During this time, fewer and fewer people remained in Sanctuary. Shaina and Marin, who used to be rivals, had barely reconciled, and then there was the young girl, June.

Sigh. No one could talk her out of it. It was impossible. This was a grudge for a murdered father. Before, one could say it was for the greater good, but now everything had changed. How could you tell her not to seek revenge? That would be a joke.

"Hehehe," Riku chuckled. "Then you had better work hard. Otherwise, by the time you have truly grown, it would be quite funny if Milo had already died of old age."

"Yes!" June nodded firmly. She had made her decision.

"Then..." Riku turned his gaze to Shaina and Marin. "What about you two? Do you choose to stay or leave?"

To be honest, Shaina and Marin were both a bit lost. Truly lost. If they left Sanctuary, where could they go? And if they stayed?

"There is no rush. Take your time to think, it is not urgent. After all, for the time being, you cannot leave Sanctuary anyway."

As Riku spoke, he tossed a [Cosmic Core] to June. The young girl did not hesitate, taking the [Cosmic Core] and merging it into her body.

"Relax," Riku said casually. "I am not saying I am imprisoning you or forcing you to agree. It is just that there are some things you know now. Within Sanctuary, they will not leak out, but if you leave, it is a different story."

Riku had naturally modified Sanctuary a bit. After all, Hades' Underworld is not a place you can just enter at will, yet look at this Sanctuary, any random person could just wander in. Riku needed to handle that. In the [Saint Seiya] Universe, he definitely needed to leave a foothold.

"Mr. Riku..." Marin hesitated before asking, "I want to know about that boy, Toma..."

"Oh, him!" Riku thought of Marin's brother. "He is under Artemis as an Angel, also known as Icarus."

"An Angel? Under Artemis?" Marin was stunned. She never expected that her brother, whom she lost as a child, would end up like that.

"Then I..." Marin started, her voice trailing off.

"You can," Riku nodded. "That goes for Shaina as well. You can consider this a deal. I will save your siblings, and in exchange, you join me, no, like June, you accept a [Cosmic Core] and become part of my subordinates."
