The Giant King had shown us an exit that leads towards the sea
Looking around, Amanises was in awe of all this, and She seemed to truly enjoy looking at the sea with all its highs and lows.
I too was enjoying this; it had been a very long time since I had taken a vacation like this.
I then spoke: "Perhaps Miss Amanises would like to stay here for a while."
Amanises cheered as she looked at me with a sparkle in her eyes
We stayed there for at least 5 hours since there was always the time of dawn in the King's Court; only our internal clocks worked.
I looked at Amanises and said, "I want you to use your abilities."
Amanises was a little dumbfounded but quickly asked, "To traverse the ocean?"
I nodded. Amanises then thought for a moment before she spoke. "Got it. Hold on, let me see if I can find a spirit that can house two people."
I was a little surprised; shouldn't the Goddess of Misfortune have some spirit of her own, similar to how Salinger had?
I was just about to ask regarding the same, but she spoke first: "Found it."
It was like a bird, a giant toucan with a very dark beak as opposed to the colorful beaks in our time.
We both sat on it, and it quickly flew to the sky, where it entered the spirit world.
As I was in the spirit world, Amanises spoke, "These lights are hanging lower than they normally do."
"Yes, they would, since I am here," I said.
The seven lights wanted to have a chat with me, but due to the circumstances, I had neither the time nor the peace to do so; it would have to wait a little longer.
I then closed my eyes as I let my intuition guide me to a place filled with life and people that had certain issues that a miracle invoker like myself could solve and get believers for.
Suddenly my sense kicked in, and I said, "I think I will stop here." It's better you find a place just for yourself, Amanises, since now you would need believers that only pray to you."
"Uhh, hold on. What if the novel begins to influence me? Grisha said to test it, right? we need a control group aswell"
"I suppose we do, a control group… Let's do this; we can connect with each other on a fixed day, and while we are at it, let's increase the gap between each meeting. That way we can check if there is a time limit to my anti-novel abilities, if there are any."
Amanises nodded, and I left the spirit world.

I looked around.
This place seems to have some form of civilization; at least the invention of fire, houses, and wheels has been done.
I entered the nearest village, and very quickly I found the guards.
They looked at me in my very outsider clothing and demeanor.
I looked at one of the guards and introduced myself as Antigonus
"Good evening, Sir, I am Antigonus. I am a traveler who likes to explore the world. Could you tell me a place to stay in this village?"
The guards seemed to be in a good mood and nodded as one of them spoke.
"Just around the center of the village, you will find an inn. It's run by Moria, and just around the inn is the village tavern, which is run by the Stahl family.
Lucky for you, this place accepts all forms of money, even bartering."
I thanked the guard and entered through the main gate.
This place was bustling with people roaming around.
I followed a board sign that quickly led me to the bazaar.
The women were bargaining with the vendors. It seems this place also had an adventure guild specifically designed for hunting monsters that attacked this place during the mating season.
It seemed the entire population was human here, or at least I hadn't found any others, which was reassuring, to say the least.
Since I didn't need food or sleep—after all, I was a sequence 2, a complete mystical creature—of course, for the sake of keeping my humanity, I had to at least eat one meal, but only when I had some cash.
A divination stall—that's one thing I can set up.
Since I started with Miracle Invoker, I haven't had the opportunity to learn these abilities like a true miracle invoker should.
I think it's best if I act out all of the abilities for a week to grasp most of them and control more of the characteristics.
I took out a gold coin from history and divined if there is any remnant will of CW due to being born a miracle invoker.
Affirmative.
`The Acting method is going to remove that remnant will`
I tossed the coin once again, affirmatively.
Guess it's seer today

The time was right around midnight; the village was still dark, with the only form of illumination that came from the torches on the wall of the village
Right near the turn that leads towards the village's main bazaar.
I stood there looking for any bystanders and to see if there were any guards.
Both divination and my own observation got an affirmative result.
I then pulled out a tent from the void of history and placed it there; it was nothing fancy, just one of the many I had seen in Arndale
I took out some light balls that would glow in colors; normally they needed electricity to function, but I quickly made a wish to have these run with it and rather on spirituality, a simple wish, nothing special.
I had set up my table rather neatly, unlike our normal world, where vendors would leave by either locking their shops or moving the entire stall. This place had good enough trust in the population that all stalls without their products could still be seen.
And only because of this reason could I do so.
I then used one of my worms to trigger the Worm of Time's characteristics and caused a loophole in its time duration to extend indefinitely.
****************************
In the morning, when the sun was right at a 45-degree angle from the normal above the head.
In modern words, it was around 9 am when I woke up.
I brushed my teeth with toothpaste and a brush like a modern human; the people here used stems from plants as a means to brush.
Having done that, I went downstairs and greeted Moira; she was both the owner and the receptionist for the inn.
The interesting part was the language; they had both Elvish and Jotun. Which was surprising since I could find neither elves nor giants.
But then again, the Giant King's Court is not far away; I was able to travel here, so some giants or elves must have managed as well.
This lack of knowledge stems from little to no knowledge of the second epoch by the author; I guess the second book must have something about it, but I can't be sure of that.
I think tonight I will most certainly invite the seven lights since I am both alone and have little work with acting.
I then left the inn and went stargazing.
It was 10 am by modern time, but most people followed the sun clock.
I assume the other beyonder characteristics that CW and GA didn't have might have been here on this continent.
`This place is part of the Northern Continent.`Negative.
Guess it's the Southern Continent.
`There will be no danger to me today`, Affirmative
Quickly turning the light ball on and dimming it, I also added a sign that said, "Free Divination for Today."
I had to build a user base first anyways, so it's fine.
For the first 50 minutes, there were no clients.
I guess the people are more sensible than their modern counterparts. It's both a good and a bad thing that they dont partake in shit like this
The curtain moved a bit when suddenly the sharp sunlight entered the tent.
I could faintly see a woman's face; there were slight wrinkles around her lips and under her eyes.
But she wasn't old by any means; she seemed like she was in her 40s.
She looked around before looking at me and asked, "Is it truly free?"
I nodded and asked her to sit right in front of me, which she accepted.
I then spoke while maintaining some eye contact to gain trust.
"What would you like to divine about Miss?"
She pondered for a moment before speaking.
"You see…," My husband and son left the village about 6 nights ago and were supposed to return 2 nights before, but they still haven't… She paused as her eyes started to well up.
I nodded before speaking. "It's alright, Miss. It's simple to find both your husband and son; all I need are some items that belong to them, like a button from their shirts or things like that.
Furthermore, I will need their names, miss."
The woman looked at me, trying to figure out if I wasn't scamming her in any way, before deciding to trust me and taking out a blue pendant.
"This is my son's, as for their name
My son is Arthur; as for my husband, his name is Elliot."
I nodded and took the blue pendant. I then began putting spirituality in the ball so as to give the aesthetic and closed my eyes
This was dream divination at the level of Miracle Invoker; while there was no need for closing eyes, for the sake of aesthetics, I did it anyway.
An image formed as follows: there were two men; one seemed in his 40s with a long brownish beard and scars on his cheek. He seemed like a veteran adventurer.
The other was a teenager of the ages of 16 to 18.
They were trying to pull their cart out from some trap when suddenly bandits attacked.
Since the father was once an adventurer, he was able to quickly take down the melee combatants from the bandit group.
His son, using his slingshot, took one other bandit down before an archer shot the son in the legs.
The image cracked and then formed once again; both the father and son had survived the bandits but had lost their goods.
The son seemed to have an infection in the leg, and they had taken a pit stop to take care of the bleeding.
The image once again broke as I opened my eyes and looked at the woman who was getting more unsure every passing second.
I then returned the blue pendant to her and spoke. "The outcome has revealed to me both good and bad.
Your husband will most certainly live and return
As for your child or the goods, that depends on fate and miracles."
The woman now was on the brink of breaking down and crying before she asked me, "How could I ensure that fate would show mercy on me and my son?" I don't care about goods."
I made it look like I pondered for a moment before speaking. "Pray to the Fool.
He is the God who wields good luck."
The woman was most certainly skeptical but didn't want to take any chances and asked, "How do I pray to the Fool?"
And with that I gave her the fool's honorific name and asked her to pray by lighting three candles and a loaf of bread as a gift of sorts to the God.
She left for her home.
I waited for a moment before making a quick divination as I took out the blue pendant from the void of history.
`the location of the owner of this pendent`
And in front of my eyes, text written with orange and blue colors appeared.
`The Forest"—"Lurking with countless low-sequence beyonder ingredients," I smiled
The forest was part of the Adventurer's guild area for hunting and was at the west gate of the village.
