Upon arrival of Kiri-shama, the earth below their feet stated quaking. The energy of the place started distorting rapidly.
A strong air current pushed everything away from vicinity.
Wooden fence and stones shattered.
Everything was still intact a second before and now it's all gone with a shockwave having epicenter below the earth of the fence. The land crumbled and made a deep scar on the Earth's surface.
The underground facility is in shambles. Everything collapsed deep in the ground. The land, the concrete, the glass and all the modern tools of the facility.
The whole structure reduced to just piles of rubble.
In the depression of ground some people can be seen standing and clearing their way.
The sight before Rudra left him expressionless. He realized he can not fulfil his promise anymore. There is no way that Ridhi could have survived that in her human form. His anger kept piling up.
Furious Rudra turned to Kiri-shama, "You knew what is going to happen. You knew she is in there. You knew everything, yet you decided not to warn us."
Vasudha tries calming him down. But his anger was in control. He just kept getting louder and louder. Then he stopped, his eyes were closed and a third eye started emerging on his forehead.
Vasudha panicked, Kiri-shama was still holding his cool.
The destruction of humankind was just mere seconds away but then a voice echoed in Rudra's head, "Who are you calling dead, it's not me, is it?"
Rudra turned and saw Ridhi with a smug on her face.
Ridhi continued, "Did you really think that we would just enter the place without any plan?"
"You should be more considerate of where you go. I told you I know everything but this was something even I was not sure of."
While deities were chatting among themselves, Dominant and all his mates came up on the ground out of the rubble. They had a few scratches or minor injuries whereas the deities were restored to their original form.
Dominant greets while walking, "You grace us with your presence, dear Omniscient."
Kiri-shama turns.
Dominant continues, "I thought you don't care of mere humans and I can see that you have levelled the stage for us. But I do want to know how you did that."
Ridhi interrupts his conversation, "Why do you think much of yourself. Let me tell you?"
"I see. So, you are alive as well."
Ridhi starts explaining, "When Rudra was sent on Earth, we knew something unnatural is going on. We were in contact with Rudra until he was in your turf. But his presence faded completely after sometime, that would be when you knock him to transport him to your basement.
Then we came looking for Rudra and found this place. Before entering we took some caution. Vasudha created a human with great physical abilities and applied my appearance to it and a little bit of my behavior."
"Wait, even you did that you didn't have any idea that what is going inside the place. You could have been asked to prove that you are deities."
Ridhi smirks, "Came to you as a surprise, huh. Well, that's why one of us was real and the other one was fake. And the Ridhi you encountered earlier was made specifically for that purpose. If you asked for proof, we could have said that Ridhi is still not a full deity and has only physical abilities."
"But how did that lead to this?"
Ridhi continues, "Since you are a scientist, this would be easy for you to follow. Vasudha created the human with two functional brains but the other one can't operate unless first one is shut. The sole purpose of the other brain was to detect a signal and then generate a powerful shockwave from a device implanted in her body."
"What type of signal are you talking about and that shockwave would have destroyed you as well if you were there. So, how did you surmise that I would let any of you go?"
"Regarding your second question, we had a plan that included for us to convince you that the only way for you to meet Kiri-shama is to let one of us go. Vasudha had knocked me as a token of faith. You would never have let Rudra out of your grasp because he is powerful."
"Naturally, Vasudha was the only option. And what about the signal, how you did that?"
"We already knew that we would be at your mercy inside your turf and our powers would have been dampened. So, we implanted human gadgets inside Ridhi's body and it can't be detected as those were installed as a part of her."
"And what was the signal?"
"It was Kiri-shama himself. The other signals you might have been able to trace but you can not trace what never existed for you."
Rudra joins in the conversation, "So that was the plan you were talking about. And to think that I almost destroyed this planet in the guilt."
Ridhi compliments, "Owe! You were going to do that for me, thank you but please don't do that in future."
"I would have done that for any of you. So, don't give me that look."
Vasudha took over the explaining, "As Kiri-shama landed on Earth he transmitted a signal of very small wavelength. An amplifier was already in place to amplify it. But before we amplify, we needed to erase the signature of our energy and by collecting the energy signature from this place we just replaced it. And everything fell into place."
But there is still a part that is missing, our never knew my intentions. What made you think that I want to meet the omniscient?"
"Well, we were not sure of that until we get in then your actions and your motives made it clear. Kiri-shama just told us that this might be happening because someone wants to meet him."
Everyone turns to Kiri-shama.
"I did say that but that was not meant for him. But it looks like that was a good choice."
Dominant laughs and along with him Hit lets a smile on his face as well.
"Look at you all. You are the most powerful beings yet you had planned before entering my domain. This proves my power. Now then,
I Dominant, a mere human, along with my followers declare a war against the almighty Deities, against you Kiri-shama."
