Well, yeah. That was exactly right.
From what Anthony knew of David, he was certain David would come around in the end.
Jokes aside, everyone understood deep down that Anthony would never send them to their deaths. If he was talking this big, he had to have a workable plan — and even if things went sideways, he would at least make sure everyone walked away with their lives.
And that was, in fact, the truth. Setting Anthony himself aside, David had been resurrected and wasn't quite dead anymore — he had vulnerabilities now — but worst case, he could just teleport out, throw his hands up, and watch the Cyberpunk crew dissolve into tears of frustration.
As for why Anthony had his eye on the Cyberpunk world specifically, there was a reason for that.
It was a world where farming was a colossal headache, but outright robbing the place was laughably easy.
Anthony called it a bank.
Opening a bank? Enormously complicated — you'd have to play mind games with all sorts of people, and it could take months before you saw a single return. But if it took months just to start turning a profit, what was the point of the place to Anthony in the first place?
But robbing a bank? All you needed was enough firepower.
Comparing the two, Anthony genuinely felt the second option was a good bit easier in the world of 2077.
[Burn Night City to the Ground: That said, even if we're doing this — I'm not sure my combat power is up to it?]
[Burn Night City to the Ground: Should I ask Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Yoriichi to help?]
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: Mm, they're both plenty strong, but I'm afraid they might still fall a little short.]
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: The main issue is that they can't really be buffed any further.]
Anthony thought it over for a moment and gave that reply.
He believed Jonathan and Yoriichi Tsugikuni could handle smaller companies and street gangs just fine.
But the ultimate target was finding a way to raid Arasaka Tower — and the more points they could extract, the better. In that scenario, the Joestars' and Yoriichi's combat power might genuinely not be enough.
Although, come to think of it…
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: Aren't you actually pretty solid for this?]
[Burn Night City to the Ground: Me?]
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: Yeah, you — you're a born-and-bred Night City native. Worst case, we resurrect you and deck you out in some cyberware.]
[Burn Night City to the Ground: The problem is, I still wouldn't be able to beat Adam Smasher like that. The guy's at 97% cyberware modification.]
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: You just don't know enough — there are people out there at 100% cyberware modification who haven't gone Cyberpsycho.]
[Burn Night City to the Ground: ???]
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: Ahem. Anyway, leave that part to me to figure out. Let me finish tallying up my gains on this end first, then I'll come deal with things on your side.]
[Lord of the White Holy Throne: When the time comes, you play muscle — logistics and power-boosting, leave all that to me.]
Anthony glanced over his Artificer upgrade tree and his Soul ability tree, and felt a decent amount of confidence.
You could question his head-on combat ability all you liked — but nobody, absolutely nobody, got to question his logistical ability.
With the chat group's next development plan settled, Anthony turned his attention back to wrapping up the gains left over from the Demon Slayer world.
First, the business on the Demon Slayer side.
Father Pucci's mission had gone off without a hitch.
When Muzan's head was delivered to the Ubuyashiki estate, Ubuyashiki Kagaya immediately felt the curse lift from him — and, overwhelmed with gratitude, threw a grand feast to celebrate Father Pucci, Yoriichi Tsugikuni, and the entire Demon Slayer Corps.
As for the conditions Father Pucci had put forward, Ubuyashiki Kagaya agreed to them without a second thought.
The only caveat was that, given the Ubuyashiki family's ties to the religious authorities, the whole affair couldn't be made too public. But Anthony accepted that readily enough.
The pleasant surprise was this: apparently because Anthony had brought people back from the dead, Ubuyashiki Kagaya had come to see Anthony as some kind of mythical figure — one of the eight million gods of Takamagahara, sent down from the heavens expressly to deal with the matter of Kibutsuji Muzan.
And after Anthony had "accidentally" let slip a glimpse of his dragon tail and dragon horns, Ubuyashiki Kagaya became even more convinced of it.
And so, several shrines dedicated to the gods of Takamagahara were erected — and in each one, a Ritual Shrine personally forged by Anthony's hand was installed.
Thanks to this elevated status, Anthony ended up with a few more shrines than he'd originally expected, and even received a steady stream of offerings to push forward his resurrection progress.
The gains were modest, but still better than nothing.
As for the actual returns — the souls of the Demon Slayer world's common folk were on the lower end in terms of quality, but once Anthony ran the numbers, he found that his daily points income from the Ritual Shrines alone had more than doubled, jumping all the way to a full three thousand points per day!
Once all of that was sorted out, Anthony sent Father Pucci back to Terra to sit in the shrine. Given the sudden and dramatic nature of his departure — which was, of course, taken as another divine miracle — it generated a very generous spike of points for Anthony.
Ah, and of course — through all of this, the one who probably suffered the most was Sisuitai… but no one particularly cared.
With the Demon Slayer world wrapped up, Anthony turned his attention to tallying the mission's rewards in a light and cheerful mood.
Thirty thousand points — quite a haul. Enough for Anthony to unlock a number of abilities. He was planning to work through the blueprint entries on his Artificer ability tree, especially the equipment forging ones.
As for one designated material… honestly, Anthony felt this was the real main event. Because with it, a forging blueprint he had been eyeing for a long, long time would finally have the resources to be built.
[Forge Core]
[Description: The Forge Core is the base of operations — or rather, the workshop — of all Artificers. When inside the Forge Core, the Artificer will unleash their true power.]
[Effect: Unlocks the Artificer Level, and unlocks all equipment that can be forged at the current Artificer Level; when forging within the Forge Core, all material costs are reduced by 10%, and this effect increases further as the Artificer Level rises.]
[Special: The Forge Core can be built upon the Primordial River and will shield the Artificer from the Primordial River's erosion; facilities and living beings installed within the Forge Core will also be protected from the Primordial River's erosion.]
[The Forge Core will gain special effects based on its construction materials.]
[Unlock Cost: 1,000 points]
[Forge Cost: 9,000 points, plus one 'Base'-type material]
Staring at this forging blueprint and the 'Base'-type material requirement listed in it, Anthony glanced over his designated material selection options and rubbed his hands together with barely contained excitement.
What could he say? Brother, what could he even say?
The value of a proper workshop to a craftsman goes without saying… but more critically — this thing could block the Primordial River's erosion!
Anthony himself wasn't especially worried on his own behalf — what he was worried about were the materials. Things like Muzan, for instance. He really didn't want to stuff Muzan into the fully-automatic fishing machine only to have the Primordial River wash him away first.
These were precious, irreplaceable raw materials!
This job was happening. No question.
And so, without another moment's hesitation, Anthony immediately initiated the material draw.
Designated type: 'Base'.
[Draw in progress…]
[Draw complete.]

Hold on a second.
What exactly did I just get?
Was he seriously about to start hand-building a mobile city?
