"He?" Rose echoed, her lips curling into a smirk. "Who is this 'he'? Don't tell me your boyfriend ran away while you were in a coma and now you're searching for him. Oh my, I understand. Men are like that. One moment they say they love you, and the next, their wandering eyes are fixed on someone else."
Aliana blinked, staring at her, wondering where that had come from. Then it clicked, she had mentioned her husband and his mistress.
Letting out a soft sigh, she cleared her throat. "Well, no, he's not. But I strongly believe he is responsible for whatever is happening to me."
This effectively shut the ghost lady up.
She raised a brow. "And how do you think he did that?"
Aliana shifted uncomfortably in her seat before answering, "Well, for a start, I saw him right before I lost consciousness after my accident."
"And?" Rose pressed.
"And I think… I think he's… one of you," Aliana finished.
