Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Fine—I’m Throwing a Fit!

Fortunately, it wasn't bunny related this time.

The manager quickly shook his head. "No, no. I guarantee you'll like this, Madam."

Riley let out a relieved breath.

Good.

The manager led her enthusiastically downstairs. After exiting the elevator, they headed straight into the underground garage.

With a loud clang, a rolling shutter door lifted and revealed a blazing red supercar.

Sleek. Aggressive. Flawless.

Even at a glance, it screamed top-tier performance.

Riley's eyes lit up instantly.

She dashed forward.

"This is from Adrian?"

Her fingers were already itching.

It had been two years since she'd last touched a car like this.

Before she could stop herself, she shoved her stuffed bunny into the manager's arms, slipped into the driver's seat, and ran her hands over the steering wheel, her eyes burning with excitement.

The manager beamed, pleased by her reaction. "Of course it's from Master Adrian. He had this imported from overseas—its value is immeasurable. Every component is top of the line. Even professional racing cars today can't match—"

VROOM!

The engine roared to life, cutting him off mid-sentence.

The car shot forward—

And within seconds, it was tearing through the garage in tight, controlled laps.

The manager's face went white.

He scrambled backward, pressing himself against a pillar. "Madam! Please stop! You're scaring me! Since when do you even know how to drive something like that?!"

But Riley couldn't hear him.

She was fully immersed.

Her hands steady, her movements sharp.

It's perfect.

If anything, she looked like she belonged behind that wheel.

She circled the garage several times, adrenaline surging.

God, I missed this.

The manager was on the verge of collapse.

Master Adrian had only said to show her the car.

Not let her drive it.

If anything happened, I'm dead for sure.

"Madam! Please get down! I beg you!"

Suddenly—

The car, which had just sped past, made a sharp turn and charged straight toward him.

"AH—!"

The manager clutched the bunny tightly, eyes squeezed shut.

SCREECH!

With a flawless drift, the car spun and stopped just inches in front of him.

Riley leaned out, laughing brightly.

"You, hop in! I'll take you for a spin!"

"N-no, no, no! I don't think this is a good idea!" the manager stammered, nearly in tears.

He rushed forward, yanked her out of the seat, and dragged her away.

"Master Adrian said you're not allowed to drive! Get down! Hold your bunny!"

Riley hugged her bunny, utterly unimpressed. "Didn't you say it was a gift for me?"

"It is a gift!" the manager said, clearly unraveling. "But do you even have a car license? Can you actually drive? Is your skill good enough? Aren't you afraid the police will arrest you?!"

Riley grinned. "Oh, so you don't trust my skills? Then watch—I'll take another lap. I'm really good!"

She tried to get back in.

"No, no, no!" The manager grabbed the bunny's long ears and held her back, then quickly locked the car. "Master Adrian said you're only allowed to look!"

Riley froze, then narrowed her eyes.

"He gave me a gift… but only let me look at it?" she said slowly. "How is that any different from taking away my food and only letting me smell it?"

She planted herself by the car door, refusing to move.

"I don't care. I'm throwing a fit."

The manager panicked, already reaching for his phone to call Adrian—

But suddenly—

Riley let go of the car, turned around, and walked off, hugging her bunny.

"Fine. I'll come back and make a scene later. I've got something else to deal with first."

The manager froze, phone in hand, utterly confused.

Following her gaze, he noticed someone lurking nearby, peeking around the corner.
