Olga Marie frowned the moment Adam mentioned an enemy nearby.
"Can you tell who it is?"
Cu Chulainn thought for a second and offered his guess.
"The Saber's been guarding the Holy Grail the whole time, and the Archer's been guarding the Saber. So it can't be either of them. That only leaves the Berserker."
Adam nodded, fully agreeing.
"No doubt about it. It has to be him."
He was already wondering how he was supposed to farm affection points from a fully maddened Berserker. The returns would probably be pitiful compared to a sane Servant.
Ritsuka recalled the Berserker data she had seen earlier.
"Why would he even come here? I thought he was completely lost to madness."
Adam considered it and shrugged.
"Probably heard the commotion and got drawn over. Anyone with eyes could've spotted Cu Chulainn's Noble Phantasm from miles away."
Cu Chulainn stared at Adam, remembering how casually he had named both the Archer and Saber earlier.
"Hey, kid. Since you seem to know every Servant in this Holy Grail War so well… do you know the Berserker's True Name?"
All eyes turned to Adam.
He nodded without hesitation.
"I do. The Berserker's True Name is Heracles."
"Heracles?"
Ritsuka repeated the name and frantically searched her memory for the legend behind it.
Olga Marie's pupils shrank.
"The son of Zeus—the great hero Heracles?!"
Cu Chulainn closed his eyes, pulling up the old myths.
"An opponent of that caliber is going to be a real pain."
"Kid, do you know his Noble Phantasm?"
Adam recalled the Chaldea entry.
"Heracles' Noble Phantasm is God Hand: The Twelve Labors. It's an incredibly troublesome one. First, it turns his body into an armor-like shell that nullifies every attack ranked B or lower—physical or magical, doesn't matter."
Olga Marie's face darkened. Just that single trait was already absurd. Most mages would be completely useless against him. She herself certainly would.
Mash looked equally worried. Her own attacks probably couldn't even scratch that defense. She glanced at her alternate self, wondering if Teacher could actually hurt the Berserker.
"And that's not the worst part..."
"The real headache is the second effect. God Hand automatically revives his body after death."
Ritsuka understood instantly, her eyes wide with shock.
"Adam, you're saying… he can resurrect?!"
Adam nodded.
"Exactly. Not counting his original life, he has eleven extra revivals."
He paused, then added,
"Oh, and one more thing. After he takes an attack once, he gains enormous resistance to it. The same move almost never works a second time."
Ritsuka felt her brain short-circuit. What kind of ridiculous ability was this?
She asked, voice tight with worry,
"Adam… can we actually win? If it's too dangerous, we can just avoid him. We don't have to fight the Berserker, right?"
Avoid him? Me?
Adam glanced at the hundreds of Servants waiting in his command. The answer was obvious.
He started mentally scrolling through his roster for the perfect counter.
Sure, Berserker affection points would be low, but there was one Servant who might flip Heracles to their side instantly. He wondered what
Black Saber would think when she saw both Medusa and Heracles defect.
Before he could find her—
CRASH!
One entire wall of the classroom exploded inward.
Thick dust swallowed everything.
"ROOOOAR—!!"
A single earth-shaking bellow blasted the cloud away.
Heracles stood there.
Every Servant moved at once.
Both Mashs summoned their shields, stepping protectively in front of Ritsuka and Adam.
Medusa and Cu Chulainn dropped into combat stances.
The Berserker was utterly lost to madness, attacking anything that moved.
He charged straight at Cu Chulainn.
Cu Chulainn hurled several oversized fireballs to slow him down.
They struck home, drawing blood, but Heracles didn't even flinch. He kept coming like a runaway train.
At the last second Cu Chulainn leaped aside—only for Heracles' massive hand to clamp around his ankle mid-air.
"Hey! Wait—"
No chance to finish.
Heracles tightened his grip and spun Cu Chulainn like a living propeller, faster and faster, the blue figure blurring into a spinning top.
"AAAAAHHHHHH—!!"
Cu Chulainn's scream echoed as his brain turned to mush.
With a final roar, Heracles hurled the spinning Caster straight at Medusa.
"What?!"
Medusa's agility saved her. She twisted out of the way in a blur.
Cu Chulainn wasn't so lucky. No one caught him.
He slammed into the far wall with a sickening crunch, vanishing under a mountain of rubble. Only his legs stuck out, twitching feebly.
Medusa stared at the wreckage, a cold sweat running down her back. If that had been her…
"What kind of move was that?"
Adam stood frozen, even forgetting to keep scrolling through his Servant list.
"Don't tell me… that's Heracles' hidden Noble Phantasm?"
"The Spinning Charge of the Blue Lancer!"
Then he remembered the class assignment in this Singularity.
"Wait—no. It should be the Spinning Charge of the Blue Caster!"
Olga Marie, Ritsuka, and Mash all stared at him in confusion.
"Hidden Noble Phantasm? Heracles has a hidden one?"
"Is it strong?"
Adam put on his most solemn expression and declared gravely,
"Legend has it that in a certain Holy Grail War from a parallel world, Heracles used this very technique—the Spinning Charge of the Blue Lancer—to defeat every other Servant and claim the Grail. Every Holy Grail War only ever needs to consume one Cu Chulainn."
