The chaos on the Starfall Plain, and the bad news arriving from alliance locations throughout, like dark clouds hanging over everyone who knew. The demonic entity's intangible, directly heart-targeting attack was moreimpossible to guard against than real blade and spear combat, and could more easily undermine morale. If not quickly contained, before the demonic entity recovered, the Three Realms' internal factions mightin utter chaos from spreading inner demons, falling apart.
Tang Xiao Qi floated in the void, his gaze sweeping across those cultivators below with struggling expressions and chaotic spiritual energy, then toward the distance, as ifpenetrating boundless space, seeing thatthe source of malice hidden in the void's depths. His eyes transitioned from initial gravity to a profound firmness.
If the demonic entity wanted to use inner demons to throw the world into chaos, he would use purification to stabilize the universe!
He slowly closed his eyes, his mind sinking into the lotus phantom within his body—the one life-bound with him, containing purification and creation origin. The lotus slowly rotated, emanating soft and pure light, dispelling the ripple stirred in his sea of consciousness by the demonic entity's consciousness. This lotus power, originating from the ancient World-Purifying Green Lotus, was the bane of all evil and demonic thoughts. Its essence was far superior to the negative emotions the demonic entity stirred.
However, the complete lotus origin power could only be wielded by him alone; it could not be popularized. What he needed to do was convey its purifying true intent in a universal, easy-to-learn and master way.
His spiritual senselike the most precise carving blade began to analyze the essence of lotus purification, stripping away those parts too profound and requiring specific origins to operate, retaining only its core meanings of "tranquility,""dispelling evil," and "guarding righteousness." Simultaneously, he combined his understanding of Buddhist transcendence methods, insights into Taoist heart-clearing techniques, and even hisinsight into into the human heart's various states gained through worldly trials.
Countless inscrutable talismans, syllables, and visualization imageryrapidly combined, deduced, and simplified within his sea of consciousness.
Time seemed to slow at this moment. The chaos on the plain below continued; Senior Brother and others anxiously maintained order and rescued the wounded in the air, but everyone's gaze inevitably turned to thatfloating figure with closed eyes, surrounded by faint clearing light.
It might have been a moment, or perhaps a long day.
Xiao Qi suddenly opened his eyes, their clearness flowing like reflecting a lotus-purifying pool. He raised his right hand, fingertipsdrew in the air in the air. Withoutusing even a trace of spiritual energy, merely using spiritual thought as guide, drawing the most primordial law lines of heaven and earth.
Ancient, simple, yet containingstrange tranquility thirty-six silver talismans flowed from his fingertips, floating in the air. These talismans were not static—they interconnected, forming a simple pattern like a lotus just beginning to bloom. Simultaneously, a complex yet heart-directing incantation with peculiar syllables, like flowing springs, naturally and spontaneously recited from Xiao Qi's mouth.
This incantation was not long—only about a hundred characters—with unique rhythmic rises and falls, as if capable of washing the soul and calming restlessness.
When the last talisman fixed in place, when the final incantation syllable fell, the thirty-six silver talismans forming the simple lotus pattern suddenly blazed, emanating soft and pure clearing radiancerippled outward like waves.
Where the clearing radiance passed, miracles occurred!
On the plain below, a cultivator who had been clutching his head and screaming nearly mad, when swept by this clearing radiance, suddenly stiffened. The crimson madness in his eyesebbed like the tide. Though still exhausted and in pain, his consciousness clearlyregained clarity, staring in bewilderment at his own hands.
Another cultivator fighting against inner greed and delusion, feeling the clearing radiance brush their body, sensed acool sensationpenetrated directly to the sea of consciousness. Those churning wicked thoughtslike snow and ice touched by sunlight, rapidly melting away. The Dao-heart regained stability.
Even the intangible, cold energy stirring inner demonspermeating the air, when touching this clearing radiance, encountered its nemesis, emitting faint "hissing" sounds, rapidly being purified and dispelled!
The effect was immediate!
"This is the simplified version of the 'Green Lotus Heart-Purifying Mantra,' combining talisman visualization and incantation methods." Xiao Qi's voicecalmly rang out, spreading across the entire plain andsimultaneously transmitted to alliance strongholds via recording artifacts. "No specific spirit roots required, no profound cultivation needed. Only need a righteous mind, and persistent visualization of talismans and chanting of the incantation, to stabilize the heart, dispel external demons, and purify the Dao-heart."
He flicked his fingers, and the simple lotus pattern composed of thirty-six talismans and the incantation content, transformed into countless tiny streams of light, accurately entering the brows of every cultivator below and all alliance leaders in the air. Simultaneously, this information was rapidly copied and sent throughout the Three Realms via the alliance network.
"Effective immediately, spread widely throughout the Three Realms! All cultivators must chant at least three times daily, especially when the heart is unsettled or cultivation encounters obstacles!"
The order was issued; no one hesitated.
On the Starfall Plain, cultivatorsjust escaped from inner demon troubles immediately began trying it. They sat cross-legged, visualizing the simple lotus talismans in their sea of consciousness, chanted the purifying mantra in low voices.
At first there was some awkwardness, but quickly, streams of faint yet real and undeniable cool, tranquil thoughts began to permeate their seas of consciousness, soothing previous wounds and restlessness, making their surrounding spiritual energy much more docile and peaceful.
"It's effective! It really works!"
"I feel my heart is clearer than ever!"
"That strange force stirring inner demons has been blocked!"
Excited voices erupted one after another. The atmosphere of despair and chaos was instantly cleared! Replacing it wasrelief of surviving disaster and renewed confidence.
Not only the Starfall Plain—throughout the alliance, those strongholds and sects affected by inner demon invasion andfell into chaos, after receiving this "Green Lotus Heart-Purifying Mantra," quickly controlled the situation. Those who had gone berserk were forcibly made to chant, gradually recovering consciousness; those with unsettled hearts stabilized their Dao-hearts through chanting.
This simplified purifying mantra, like lighting lamps in spreading darkness. Though individual lights were faint, when billions of lights lit simultaneously, they could illuminate the entire world and dispel thegloom brought by the demonic entity!
The demonic entity used consciousness to stir human darkness; Xiao Qi used the Green Lotus Heart-Purifying Mantra toguard the light in human hearts.
Aa wave of chanting throughout the Three Realms quickly rose. Whether front-line preparing elites or rear-production cultivators, even many Qi Refining and Foundation Establishment stage disciples, began chanting this mantra daily. This was not only to resist the demonic entity's invasion but became a daily practice for heart refinement and Dao-heart stabilization.
Agitated morale quickly stabilized. Preparation work, after a brief period of chaos, returned to the right track with even more resilience and steadiness.
In the void's depths, within that hidden demon nest, the dormant terrifying consciousness seemed irritated by this sudden, throughout the Three Realmsof pure power, emitting asilent,a malevolent growl. Its heart-attack scheme had been ingeniously resolved.
Xiao Qi stood in the void, feeling the torrent of countless tiny tranquil thoughts converging from throughout the Three Realms, his gaze increasingly profound.
The wide dissemination of the purifying mantra stabilized not only morale but the belief of billions of beings in the Three Realms in opposing darkness. This belief would become the most solid backing when the final battle arrived.
