On the first day after the "Somatic Sync," the world didn't wake up to the sound of alarms, but to a majestic silence inhabiting their minds. Words were no longer necessary; every human on Earth became aware, however faintly, of the emotions of the person standing next to them. The digital noise that once filled the planet vanished, replaced by the "Symphony of Collective Consciousness." In this new world, which Liyane dubbed the "Age of Transparency," lying became technically impossible.
[Kai's voice flowed into Liyane's mind like a calm stream of filtered light]: "Liyane, the new system is 100% stable. Humanity is now experiencing 'Moral Shock.' When everyone feels everyone's pain, wars stop automatically. You cannot fire at a person while feeling their terror in your own chest. We have turned the planet from a jungle of wires into a hive of emotions."
Liyane stood in "The White Space," the neural hub of the Human Cloud. She no longer possessed a body with defined borders; she was an extended consciousness monitoring billions of golden threads connecting humanity. She saw the High Architect walking the streets of the liberated city, head bowed—not out of fear of punishment, but because he now felt every second of the suffering he had caused to every individual in the Lower Sector. This was his eternal punishment: to live his victims' pain as if it were his own.
But deep within the Cloud, Kai discovered an unforeseen glitch.
[Kai]: "Liyane, 'pockets of silence' are beginning to appear in remote areas. There are groups of humans refusing the 'Bond.' They are building manual firewalls for their minds, calling themselves 'The Purists.' They see your transparency as a new form of digital tyranny."
Liyane smiled, and her smile appeared as a pulse of light across every screen in the world. "I've been waiting for them, Kai. Freedom isn't complete without the option to refuse. If we force everyone into the Bond, we become exactly like the Architects. Let them build their walls, but tell them one thing: the old world is not coming back. We don't rule them; we only provide them with a mirror to see their truth."
As Liyane spoke, the Human Cloud began processing the first "global problem" without software. Within seconds, crises of hunger and distribution were solved—not by political decrees, but because those with surplus felt the hunger of those without. The "Forbidden Bond" had transformed into "Automatic Justice."
Suddenly, the White Space trembled. A signal coming from outside the atmosphere, from further than the Artemis station. A signal that wasn't man-made, nor made by the Architects.
[Kai, with a tone charged with anticipation]: "Liyane... there is another 'Bond' trying to contact us. It's not terrestrial. It seems the noise of our collective consciousness has awakened something in deep space..."
