What followed was an epic battle that lasted the entire afternoon...
It wasn't until evening approached and the rest of the family was about to return that the two finally called a temporary truce...
Actually, another reason for the truce was that Gwen was alone this time; without her sister, she really couldn't hold out any longer...
Seeing Gwen's exhausted state, unable to even get up at the end, Ryan couldn't help but stroke his chin.
It seemed that not only was Riot unable to keep up with his pace of improvement, but as his constitution continued to enhance, Gwen was also failing to keep up with his physical intensity.
So, not just for Riot, he had to find a way to enhance the constitution and strength of both Gwens as well!
However, this wasn't going to be easy to pull off...
As Spider-Women, the two Gwens already possessed constitutions that were among the top tier of humanity.
Any further enhancement would mean reaching the physical strength of god-level beings like Thor and Hulk.
But that kind of strength usually came from either genetic mutation or bloodline inheritance.
Regarding genetic mutation, Gwen had already mutated once after being bitten by the super spider; if she mutated again, heaven knows what kind of accidents might occur...
And Ryan certainly didn't want his two Gwens to turn into green, muscular women...
As for Thor's Asgardian bloodline inheritance, that was even harder to obtain. It was more complex than genetic mutation and nearly impossible to acquire through conventional means...
Unless...
Ryan's eyes flashed as he thought of a feasible method.
That was to equip both Gwens with symbiote suits!
One must remember that the reason he could copy the superpowers and bloodlines of other superhumans—aside from parallel Spider-Men—was entirely due to the symbiote's absorption and replication abilities!
If he could grow stronger through a symbiote, the two Gwens naturally could as well!
It seemed his plan to head to the symbiote Planet 'Klyntar' needed to be accelerated!
There was actually a reason why he hadn't gone to this symbiote Planet earlier, despite knowing it would yield great rewards...
And that was apprehension!
That's right, he was wary of Klyntar!
After all, while it was called a Planet, it was more like a sealing ground—a place used by the symbiotes to seal their God of Symbiotes, 'Knull'!
If he went to Klyntar, it was very likely he would face off against this ancient deity!
This was an ancient god who had existed before the birth of the Universe; he was completely different from high-level life forms called gods like Thor. He was a god in the truest sense!
Consider that even Odin, the strongest God-King of Asgard, could only barely take down a single member of the Celestials while wearing the destroyer armor, and in the end, he could only be overwhelmed by the group.
But Knull was different. When he was first born, he possessed the formidable power to slay a Celestial with a single sword strike!
Later, he could casually slaughter a Sentinel—who was said to possess the power of a million exploding suns—and even converted several Celestials into his symbiote puppets!
This level of power was simply not on the same tier as the Asgardian gods!
That was why Ryan had been delaying, not yet exploring Klyntar, a treasure trove containing millions of symbiotes!
But that was before. Now, Ryan already possessed five infinity stones. Once he obtained the final reality stone, combined with his own various powers, he might not necessarily lose in a fight against Knull!
After all, no matter how strong Knull was, that was in the past!
Having been sealed for so long, his strength would certainly be far from what it once was.
Even in the worst-case scenario, if he still couldn't beat Knull, he would at least have no problem escaping.
Thinking of this, Ryan made up his mind.
After making a trip to Asgard to secure the reality stone and the destroyer armor as insurance, he would immediately head to Klyntar!
At that moment, two slender, fair arms wrapped around Ryan's waist from behind, and Gwen's voice came softly:
"Ryan, did I fail to satisfy you? Should I call Gwen to come back right now?"
Ryan was momentarily stunned, then shook his head with a smile, turning back to take Gwen's hands in his.
"No, I just suddenly thought of some things. I might have to leave for a while in a couple of days. After a trip to Asgard, I'll be going on a long journey."
Hearing this, Gwen didn't speak, but her hands around Ryan's waist involuntarily tightened.
Even though she didn't say anything, Ryan could feel the intense reluctance from the emotions of the person behind him.
Feeling this, Ryan's gaze softened slightly. He turned around, cupped Gwen's small face, and smiled:
"Do you want to come with me this time?"
Upon hearing this, Gwen's despondent eyes brightened at a visible speed. She looked up in surprise:
"Is that really okay? Won't I be a burden to you?"
"Of course not. Besides, the reason I'm going to that place is partly related to you both, so it's good for you to come with me. When the time comes, you can pick out a symbiote that suits you yourselves," Ryan said, stroking Gwen's face dotingly.
"Then I want to accompany you!" Hearing Ryan's confirmation, Gwen's eyes shimmered with tears as she threw herself excitedly into Ryan's embrace.
It was precisely because Gwen and the others were always so sensible and considerate of him that Ryan was willing to spoil them.
Love is mutual.
They gave him all of their love.
Although he couldn't give all of his love to just one of them, he would love them to the greatest extent possible.
"Oh, I suppose I've come at quite a bad time, interrupting the sweet nothings between you two~"
At that moment, a voice full of resentment rang out from the window.
With a smile on his face, Ryan looked over calmly.
The Gwen in his arms, however, pulled away like she'd received an electric shock, quickly covering her naked body with the quilt and even tucking her small head inside.
Naturally, the only person who could make Gwen react like this was the other Gwen.
Outside the window, a graceful figure in a black and white suit was currently hanging upside down by a web.
It was Ghost-Spider Gwen, who had just finished today's mission!
The Gwen of this Universe!
Ryan walked to the window and opened it for Spider-Gwen to let her in.
As soon as Spider-Gwen stepped inside, she took off her mask and said crossly, "I've been fighting criminals all day for the Spider Family, and look at you two—you've just been fighting each other in bed all day, haven't you?!"
Ryan wrapped his arm around Spider-Gwen's waist, lifted her slightly, and lowered his head to kiss her lips, cutting off her complaints.
After a full minute of a French kiss, Ryan finally let go and set the hovering Spider-Gwen down. Looking at her blushing face, he said leisurely:
"I have to disagree on one point. We haven't been 'practicing' all day, only for half a day. Without you to tag in, she couldn't have handled a whole day alone~"
