Chapter 314 - Chapter 314: Journey to Space, An Encounter with Yondu?

This conference room was as massive as a sports stadium, with a podium at the center and circular seating for members that could accommodate tens of thousands of people.

So, never mind a meeting for their Spider Family; even if the entire Spider-Family were called to a meeting now, this giant conference room would be more than enough!

Of course, this giant conference room was only activated for large-scale meetings involving everyone; usually, the two small conference rooms on either side of the center were sufficient.

Ryan scanned the area and found no issues with the Base; it was almost identical to the blueprints Tony had shown him.

Furthermore, this Base utilized the same Vibranium material as Wakanda's Golden City, along with a Vibranium dome field, providing dual protection for the Base's safety through both energy shield defense and physical defense.

Possessing the Vibranium of two Universes, Ryan was currently not lacking in Vibranium at all!

Ryan checked the portals leading to the two Universes and five factions and found no issues there either.

In fact, there was no need to check; Ryan was already very at ease.

This was because these portals were created by combining the efforts of four parties: the two super-geniuses of their eras, Tony and Spider-Man 2099, along with the Kamar-Taj sorcerers and the Asgard Bifrost Bridge designer, all forged using Vibranium!

This gave the portals not only cross-Universe transport capabilities but also dual detection functions in both technology and magic!

As long as you carried dangerous items or arrived with malicious intent, the portal would immediately detect it and refuse entry to Ryan's Earth!

Perfect!

As for the operational issues of communicating with other Universes and factions, that was not something Ryan needed to worry about.

He had raised a group of Black Widows; they were professionals in this regard!

Oh, right, the Skrulls on the Avengers' side in the other Universe—he had also taken some time over the past six months to deal with them.

After all, the plan for the two Universes was originally to join forces and purge the Skrulls from both.

Since they had already cleared out the Skrulls once, doing it again was even simpler.

With the combined strength of the superheroes from two Universes, plus Ryan's strength having increased after his trip to the Zombie Universe, the other Skrulls faced the purge led by Ryan with absolutely no power to fight back before being completely rooted out!

Even though they eventually called back the Captain Marvel of their Universe, it was to no avail.

Setting aside that Ryan's own power was beyond what Captain Marvel could compare to, one must realize that he had already absorbed the power of two Captain Marvels into his body at that time!

So how could the Captain Marvel of the other Universe possibly be his match?

Ultimately, however, Ryan did not kill the Captain Marvel of that Universe...

Because unlike the Captain Marvel of his own Universe, the superheroes of his Universe didn't know that woman at all and had no feelings for her...

The Captain Marvel on the Avengers' side was, at the very least, a comrade who had fought side-by-side with the other members of the Avengers; although she had indeed been wrong regarding the Skrull matter, the people of the Avengers still requested that Ryan spare her life...

So, after Ryan easily gave that woman—whose mind had been invaded by green-skinned ideology—a thorough beating, he did not kill her...

However, he also used the Space Stone to take back the abilities she had gained from it, turning her back into her original, ordinary self...

He believed that for a Captain Marvel who was used to being a space Police officer, losing that great power wouldn't feel much better than dying~

And now that both Universes had lost Captain Marvel, the space Police officer, did that mean it was time for him, the cosmic Monarch, to make his entrance?!

After confirming there were no issues with the new Base and the portals, Ryan, who had already said his goodbyes to the others, turned into a streak of prismatic light and shot out beyond Earth!

As he broke through Earth's atmosphere, the deep, pitch-black void of the Universe, which seemed capable of swallowing everything, appeared before Ryan's eyes.

It wasn't that he couldn't use spatial abilities to transfer directly to the Planets he wanted to visit.

But Ryan had never roamed through the Universe in his physical body before, so he naturally wanted to see what it felt like...

After all, isn't the sea of stars one of a man's ultimate dreams?

As Ryan activated his Binary Mode and began traveling at faster-than-light speeds, the endless, deep, pitch-black void finally vanished, replaced by asteroids flashing past him one by one!

It was as if he wasn't passing the stars, but rather the stars were passing him in the opposite direction!

The scene was miraculous and exceptionally beautiful!

There is no resistance in the Universe, so Ryan's speed grew faster and faster!

Especially since he had absorbed three Captain Marvels, reaching a level of Cosmic Energy three times the strength of the original Captain Marvel; flying at full FTL speed even caused the space around him to tear into tiny, pitch-black spatial cracks!

Just as Ryan reached the limit of his flight speed using Cosmic Energy and was about to mobilize the Infinite Power within him to accelerate further, his Spider-Sense suddenly sent out a series of warnings!

But this warning didn't come from an enemy; it came from himself!

At this moment, Ryan calmed down and looked down, only to find that the tiny spatial cracks around him had grown larger at some point, and he could even see other Worlds through these rifts!

If he had used the Infinite Power to accelerate just now, he probably would have 'crashed' headfirst into another World through sheer speed!

Well then!

He had found another way to travel to other Universes...

And it was a way to travel without relying on spatial abilities!

That is... as long as you are fast enough!

Simple, right?

However, Ryan's goal this time wasn't to travel to another Universe, so seeing that he was about to crash into one, he subconsciously slowed down, allowing the pitch-black spatial cracks to be repaired by the Universe itself at a visible rate.

Just as he had lowered his speed to the point where the spatial cracks completely disappeared, his Spider-Sense warned him again!

And this time the warning wasn't because of his own issues, but because there really was something ahead!

Ryan snapped his head up and saw a massive spaceship that looked like a 'hunk of iron' rapidly enlarging before his eyes!

Ryan hurried to brake, but since this was his first time flying in the Universe, he wasn't quite used to it; he didn't stop immediately but crashed straight into that giant 'hunk of iron'!

It wasn't until he had smashed into the interior of the ship and plowed two long drag marks into the metal floor that Ryan finally came to a halt.

"Oi, that was exciting~"

Feeling the gravity inside the ship—similar to Earth's—and the not-so-fresh air, Ryan couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.

It seemed he had accidentally 'intruded' into someone else's spaceship.

The hole he had just smashed in the ship was now covered by a layer of blue membrane.

Clearly, this ship had self-repair capabilities.

At that moment, a series of hurried footsteps came from deeper within the ship.

Originally, Ryan didn't want to have any interaction with the Master of the ship he had accidentally crashed into.

After all, he didn't want to pay for damages, so he planned to just slip away using his spatial abilities~

"Wheeeeeeeeee~"

But arriving before the ship's Master was a long whistle, followed by a glowing red arrow shooting rapidly toward Ryan as he intended to leave!

This caused Ryan, who was prepared to depart, to stop; just as the arrow was less than a centimeter from the back of his head, he grabbed it firmly.

Ryan looked down at the vibrating arrow in his hand, and the corners of his mouth slowly curled up: "For real? Could it really be such a coincidence?"

A whistle plus a flying arrow—he believed there wasn't a second combination like this to be found in this Universe.

So the identity of the person attacking Ryan was naturally self-evident, and that was...

"Kid, it's always been us Raiders intruding into other people's ships; you actually dare to intrude into a Raiders' ship? Quite the nerve!"

Blue skin, a red leather coat, that raspy smoker's voice, and an overbearing attitude!

That's right, it's him, it's him, it's really him—our little Star-Lord's foster father, Yondu Udonta!
