The others stood with Ryan in front of the one-way glass of the two interrogation rooms to watch the proceedings.

Next, it was time for Deadpool and Captain Hydra's performance!

First, on Deadpool's side, he dragged Gravik away. Upon entering the interrogation room, Deadpool didn't say a word and immediately strapped the man into an electric chair.

He didn't even ask any questions; instead, he cranked the electric chair to the maximum, giving him a shock first!

Instantly, Gravik's pig-like screams echoed from Deadpool's interrogation room!

Chief Stacy, watching from outside, was stunned. He couldn't help but turn to Ryan beside him and ask, "He's not even going to ask questions first?"

Even when the police department interrogates suspects, they don't just start with torture without questioning...

Chief Stacy's brow furrowed. "Ryan, even if they are superhuman criminals, you can't use such violent extrajudicial punishment, can you?"

Ryan knew Chief Stacy was the type who needed to be handled with care, so he didn't directly contradict him. He simply said calmly, "Father-in-law, just keep watching. We indeed don't usually use such extreme methods to interrogate superhuman criminals, but..."

"Make no mistake, they aren't human, Father-in-law..."

Hearing this, Chief Stacy's pupils constricted until they were like pinpricks. Even though he usually disliked profanity, he couldn't help but curse at this moment:

"Motherfucker! Are you saying it's another alien invasion? Is there some alien treasure hidden in New York? Since I took over as Chief of the New York Police Department, how many waves of aliens have there been?!"

"Do you think it's because I'm incompetent as Chief that all this is happening? If I resign and a more capable Chief takes over, would the situation in New York improve?"

Chief Stacy held his head, feeling a bit of a breakdown, even considering resignation for the first time.

Once or twice could be called a coincidence, but there had been three or four alien invasions since he took office. Chief Stacy really began to wonder if the problem was him...

Watching the collapsing Chief Stacy, Ryan shook his head. If his father-in-law wasn't competent enough, then there were no competent Chiefs in America.

Thus, to steady his father-in-law so he could continue serving as the Chief of the New York Police Department with peace of mind, Ryan comforted him:

"Don't think like that, Father-in-law. This alien invasion has nothing to do with you. It actually predates the other alien invasions in New York; it can be traced back to 1995. They started lurking on Earth one after another back then..."

Hearing Ryan's 'comfort,' Chief Stacy finally breathed a sigh of relief. "So the problem didn't start during my term; it was... wait, what did you just say?!"

"These Shapeshifters have been lurking on Earth since 1995? And what do you mean by 'one after another'? Are there more than just these two?!"

At that thought, the blood in Chief Stacy's body turned icy and solidified.

He realized what a massive crisis this would be for humanity!

One or two shapeshifting aliens who could perfectly mimic anyone would already be a disaster for any country.

If there was a whole group of such shapeshifting aliens, then...

*Hiss!!!*

Chief Stacy felt a wave of horror just thinking about it. That meant people he had seen before, especially those high-ranking officials, could very well have been infiltrated by this Shapeshifting race!

Every single person could be a shapeshifting alien!

There were an unknown number of 'Imposters' wearing human skin lurking among humanity!

Chief Stacy no longer felt that Ryan's people were abusing extrajudicial punishment. He even walked to the very front, staring at Gravik in the interrogation room. Under Deadpool's electric shocks, Gravik was still stubbornly shouting, "I won't tell you anything, ahhhhh~!" Chief Stacy gritted his teeth and said:

"Do you need me to provide a few interrogation techniques? I have some experience with this!"

Question: How long does it take to go from resisting to joining in?

Answer: Just the time it takes to say one sentence!

As long as an undeniable reason is given, a person's attitude can be completely transformed.

Even an old stubborn man like Chief Stacy, who had the law etched into his bones, was no exception...

"No need. The two best interrogation experts in the World are already in there. We just need to watch..." Ryan's lips curled slightly, very satisfied with the change in Chief Stacy's attitude.

The reason he didn't use a simpler method to get answers this time was indeed to torture these Skrulls.

Secondly, he wanted to take this opportunity to continue changing Chief Stacy's—and even his parents Ben and May's—views and attitudes toward good and evil.

You can be kind, but please use that kindness on people who are equally kind.

Don't waste your kindness on evil people, or even non-human alien races.

He couldn't control the Chief Stacys, Bens, and Mays of other Universes, but in his Universe, the three who were his family absolutely could not be kind to the point of ignorance...

Even the most upright Chief Stacy no longer stopped Deadpool's extrajudicial punishment, and no one else would say anything stupid about torturing aliens being cruel.

Therefore, everyone quietly watched the bloody confessions inside the two interrogation rooms.

As for where the bloodiness was?

Compared to Deadpool directly using electric shocks, our Captain Hydra was much more of a 'gentleman' toward the lady.

Not only did he not strap Jia to an electric chair, he didn't even use any restraints. He even gentlemanly pulled out a chair for Jia and pressed her shoulders to sit her down.

Then he went to the side to leisurely brew some coffee.

However, even though Captain Hydra did nothing, just hearing Gravik's screams next door made her stiffen with fear.

Under this psychological pressure, drops of cold sweat kept falling from Jia's forehead; her internal pressure had already hit the ceiling!

So when Captain Hydra simply placed a cup of coffee in front of her, the action startled her, making her delicate frame shudder violently.

Captain Hydra didn't sit across from Jia. Instead, he sat right on the interrogation table next to her, holding his coffee cup and looking at Jia teasingly:

"What's wrong? We haven't even started, and you're already so scared you've leaked a few drops?"

Jia looked at Captain Hydra's face, which was full of righteousness, yet she inexplicably felt a sixth sense of fear coming from the bottom of her heart!

It was as if... beneath this skin of justice, a terrifying demon was hidden!

Seeing Jia staring at him without speaking, Captain Hydra wasn't annoyed. He took a slow sip of coffee and then said:

"As the moral benchmark of America, I actually have very strict bottom-line requirements for myself—that is, I don't hit women, children, or the elderly..."
