Chapter 148 - Chapter 148: The Avengers Fired Up Once Again!

A typical Trolley Problem was not a problem at all in front of a bully like him.

If he could take down one more formidable enemy, Ryan wouldn't even mind manually pulling the trolley down with Silk and sacrificing the people on both sides!

Now with one vote from Tony and one from Ryan, both agreed to actively open the Quantum Tunnel to let Thanos fight on their home turf, Earth.

That's already two votes.

After some deep thought, the others also began to raise their hands one by one.

The first to agree was, of course, Fat Thor, who wanted to chop Thanos down once more.

Although he still had a bit of a psychological shadow regarding Thanos, it was mostly anger.

Next was Tony's best friend, Rhodes, even though he was a Skrulls imposter.

But on the surface, he still had to support Tony as always.

Then there was Rocket; as a fellow genius, it understood that what Tony and Ryan said was true—Thanos absolutely had the ability to create a Quantum Tunnel!

So, instead of waiting for Thanos to surprise them later, they should rely on their prophetic advantage to surprise Thanos instead!

Finally, there was Hawkeye; his wife, Mockingbird, and their three children had all been annihilated in Thanos's Snap!

Aside from Thor, he was the person who wanted revenge on Thanos the most.

With four more votes following the two original ones, there were already six votes in favor of fighting on their home turf.

It didn't really matter whether the remaining four—Captain America, Natasha, Green Doctor, and Ant-Man—voted or not; the minority would follow the majority.

Finally, looking at the majority who had raised their hands, Captain America lowered his head and rubbed his brow. When he looked up again, his gaze had turned firm. He took a deep breath and made his decision:

"Alright, let's go kill that bitch!"

Hearing the Captain use such long-unheard profanity, everyone couldn't help but smile.

Especially Tony.

Looking at the Avengers filled with fighting spirit, he felt as if he had returned to the Battle of New York once again!

Strength, wisdom, tactics, coordination—they lacked none of these most important team factors back then!

That was the first time the Avengers collaborated, their most perfect collaboration, and also the last time they acted as a collective group.

Except for the Battle of New York, they could never recapture that feeling of perfect teamwork in any subsequent battle.

Even during the Ultron incident, various factors caused a lack of unity, and the team fell into a slump.

After the Civil War, they didn't even have a single chance for the full team to cooperate.

It was as if... some invisible force was always splitting the Avengers apart... but this time, that blood-boiling feeling of being fearless was back!

Everyone was affected and instinctively looked at Captain America, who had been in charge of command since the Battle of New York:

"Captain, what's the plan?"

Although Captain America usually acted like a reckless man, often solving problems with his super strength...

In team battles, Captain America's role was actually significant. In Avengers' operations, the two most important elements—tactics and command—were both deployed by him alone.

Furthermore, Captain America held a position in the Spider Family similar to Ryan's, acting as a pillar of support to stabilize people's hearts.

Captain America thought for a moment, and adhering to his usual style, he first considered the passive situations they might encounter:

"When Thanos comes this time, he must have learned about our specific strength from Nebula's memories. So, he definitely won't come alone; he'll bring his Army."

"And following the habits of war, before engaging in close quarters, there's usually a round of Carpet Bombing if conditions allow. So, when Thanos's Army emerges, the first thing we need to consider is how to deal with their mothership!"

Hearing this, Thor stepped forward without hesitation, patted his chest, and said cheerfully:

"That's easy. Leave it to me. I have stormbreaker and the new Mjolnir my father made for me. When Thanos's fleet comes out, I'll just go up and unleash a Thunderous Strike!"

But Captain America shook his head immediately: "You won't do. In Nebula's memories, you were the one who chopped off Thanos's head, so he will definitely focus on you!"

"He might even know your specific abilities and combat habits from Nebula's memories and have developed a specific strategy against you. We need to choose another powerful person whose background Thanos doesn't know to handle this!"

Rocket said thoughtfully, "Are you talking about that Stylish lady who loves doing her hair? With her terrifying power, she could indeed destroy a fleet, but..."

"That woman spends all her time outside Earth, volunteering in the Universe. Who knows which galaxy she's flown to now? She might not even be able to make it back in time before Thanos arrives."

Hearing this, Green Doctor suggested, "Why don't we use the six stones to bring the others back first? Once we've gathered the other Avengers who were annihilated, we'll surely be able to stand against Thanos's Army!"

Hearing Green Doctor's suggestion, most people's eyes lit up, thinking it was feasible.

Only Ryan and Tony frowned.

Captain America looked at the Power, Soul, and Reality Stones on the table, his expression appearing hesitant:

"Thanos's goal is the six Infinity Stones. If we use them now to resurrect the others, I'm afraid it might backfire..."

"Because to bring everyone back with the six stones, one of our strongest fighters would inevitably have to use them, which means they would likely lose their combat effectiveness as a result."

"If Thanos travels here while we've lost one of our top fighters, the resurrected Avengers would be scattered everywhere and might not be able to provide timely support, just like Carol out in the Universe!"

"So, I don't think bringing everyone back first is a good idea. The risk is too great!"

Reality is not a movie.

The process couldn't be as ideal as in Avengers 4, where none of the Avengers died in Thanos's Carpet Bombing, and Captain America held out alone with a single shield until everyone resurrected arrived to support him, even waiting for Captain Marvel's return.

But in reality, just one small mistake—like Captain America failing to withstand Thanos's pressure, the resurrected people arriving a bit late, or Carol not returning in time—could lead to a different outcome.

One of the fourteen million outcomes Doctor Strange spoke of...

Facing Captain America's analysis, the others were left speechless.

Indeed, if Thanos launched a surprise attack after they snapped their fingers and lost a top combatant, the six Infinity Stones in their hands would likely be snatched away!

Seeing that no one was speaking, Captain America instinctively looked at Tony, the leader of the other faction after the Civil War split, and asked, "Tony, what do you think?"

Tony leaned against the table, shrugged casually, and said leisurely, "What do I think? I think with my eyes..."

"Tony, be serious..." Captain America looked at Tony helplessly.

Hearing this, Tony's gaze finally moved away from the three Infinity Stones on the table and landed on Ryan, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"If you ask me, why don't we ask the amazing Mr. Spider, the all-knowing Ryan Parker?"
