After all, in the original plot, Tony didn't know that the traitor was Obadiah Stane. Now that he knew Obadiah's identity in advance, exposing himself before dealing with him would undoubtedly be a stupid act that would harm both himself and others.
Ryan was in no hurry to go home. Instead, he decided that there was no time like the present and planned to take out Obadiah tonight so he could receive his payment and shares as soon as possible.
After all, if Obadiah didn't die and Tony remained hidden in the shadows, Tony wouldn't be able to pay him.
Before the operation officially began, because Tony was paying enough, Ryan gave him two options as an extra courtesy.
Option one: he would simply kill Obadiah and be done with it.
Option two: he would bring Obadiah back to the Villa and let Tony do it himself to vent the pleasure of revenge.
Without a doubt, Tony chose option two.
It wasn't because he really wanted to kill Obadiah personally to vent his anger, but because he still had questions he wanted to ask Obadiah face-to-face.
Ryan, of course, had no objection to this.
The customer is God!
In the assassin business, bringing back a live target is usually much harder than just killing them, but that only applies to ordinary assassins.
For Ryan, the difference between bringing a target back dead or alive was basically non-existent.
As the three of them chatted and joked, night quickly fell.
Ryan picked a limited-edition sports car from Tony's collection in the Villa's garage and set off.
It couldn't be helped; the area where Tony lived was a wealthy neighborhood with low, sparse buildings, making it impossible for him to swing with his Spider Silk.
He couldn't exactly swing through the air using Tony's parents in heaven to help him find the enemy and get revenge, could he?
After driving into New York, Ryan parked the car in the underground parking lot of Fisk Tower in Hells Kitchen.
Because Hells Kitchen is a notorious lawless land, bringing Obadiah here later to transport him would prevent the cops from tracking his car.
After parking, Ryan put on his mask and took off his jacket. The assassin 'venom', who struck fear into the hearts of the underworld, set off on his mission.
You have a new order, please proceed as soon as possible!
Rider Ryan, heading out!
While swinging toward Stark Tower on his Spider Silk, Ryan unexpectedly ran into Peter, who was chasing criminals on the street.
Ryan couldn't help but shake his head.
Hadn't he instructed Peter to assist Dr. Connors with the research on the lizard regeneration serum while he was away?
Why was this kid neglecting his duties to fight crime?
Now that he'd been caught red-handed, Peter was definitely in for it when he got back!
However, he didn't have time to deal with Peter right now; he had to pick up his order and deliver it to the customer.
When Ryan arrived at Stark Tower, one of New York's iconic landmarks, he didn't rush in blindly.
After all, Stark Tower wasn't like the gang leaders he'd killed before; the defense level was in a completely different league.
If he barged in recklessly, he would likely trigger the internal alarm system of Stark Tower.
So, while clinging to the glass window of Stark Tower, Ryan pulled a phone out of his suit pocket and sent a quick text to Tony.
In less than a second, Tony replied with an OK emoji.
This meant Tony had already let Jarvis take over the security system of Stark Tower; nothing he did from now on would trigger an alarm.
Then it would be easy.
Ryan crawled along the glass exterior of Stark Tower as nimbly as a spider and soon found Obadiah Stane's location.
At that moment, Obadiah was sitting in the CEO's office that originally belonged to Tony, speaking on the phone with a heavy tone.
Judging by the content of the call, the person on the other end seemed to be from the Military.
They were saying that the Military had not yet found any trace of Tony, but they would continue to expand the search area. They also intended to place another large order with Stark Industries to compensate for the loss of orders caused by Tony's absence.
To this, Obadiah appeared heavy-hearted and displeased on the surface.
He repeatedly emphasized that they must find Tony, whom the Military had lost, as soon as possible. Tony was his dearest friend, his brother—could a single large order make up for that?
Inwardly, however, he was beaming with joy!
He thought to himself that Tony Stark was simply his treasure boy!
While alive, he brought all sorts of advanced weapon designs; even after death, he could still provide value by bringing in a massive order!
If it weren't for the fact that Obadiah couldn't wait to rename Stark Industries to Stane Industries, he would have been truly loath to kill this money-making tree that was Tony!
While Obadiah was still dreaming about the future, he completely failed to notice a crimson figure standing on the massive floor-to-ceiling window behind him!
Yes, standing!
In a way that defied common sense, he stood on the vertical, smooth glass window.
Politely waiting for Obadiah to finish his call, Ryan, outside the window, slowly raised his foot, preparing to 'knock on the door'.
Then... CLANG!
Even the tough bulletproof glass couldn't withstand Ryan's kick, which carried the impact of a hundred-ton king. Under the kick, it shattered instantly.
By the time Obadiah realized something was wrong and turned around, what met his eyes was already a size 47 foot!
BAM!
With one kick, Obadiah flew several meters back and slammed into the wall, causing him to 'shut down' in a literal sense.
That flying kick—wasn't it stylish, bro?
Don't let the weight of Ryan's kick fool you; it wasn't light either. Although Obadiah was still alive, his sternum had several cracks, and several ribs were broken.
Ryan didn't stand on ceremony. He walked over, grabbed one of Obadiah's legs, and dragged him toward the window like a pig destined for slaughter.
In fact, Obadiah's current situation was not much different from that of a pig.
The only difference was that after a pig is slaughtered, it can still serve as food, making a final contribution to human appetite.
But Obadiah, after death, would only be a pile of rotting, stinking trash... Under the cover of night, Ryan returned to the Fisk Tower parking lot with the unconscious Obadiah without any trouble. He threw him into the trunk, floored the gas, and drifted away.
It was a stark contrast to the attentive service he had provided when escorting Tony!
To Ryan, the customer who placed the order was God, while the target of the order was merely cargo.
As the most efficient Shallemo rider, Ryan guaranteed that the 'order' would be delivered to the customer as quickly as possible, but he couldn't guarantee whether the order would still be in the same complete state it was when it 'left the kitchen'...
Thus, when Ryan drove back to Tony's seaside Villa and delivered Obadiah—who was covered in his own vomit—to Tony.
Even Tony was speechless.
What on earth did this guy go through on the way... Obadiah would say, do you know Takumi Fujiwara?
The whole way, he was like a trunk-version of Takumi Fujiwara. It was one hell of a bumpy ride!
