Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: My Path to Becoming a Demon God as Tohsaka Rin - Glory is on the Other Shore!

Amidst the filling desert sands, the King of Conquerors took the lead, followed by an army of tens of thousands of Servants, launching a full-scale charge toward Gilgamesh atop the sand dune.

As the previous phenomenon vanished, the King of Conquerors, clearly sensing something, turned to warn the army behind him.

"It's coming!"

Standing proudly atop the sand dune, Gilgamesh raised the Sword of Rupture in his hand and shouted.

"Come, awaken, Sword of Rupture! The stage befitting you has been set! Come, Enuma Elish!"

At this time, Rin, who was less than a hundred meters away from Gilgamesh, clearly felt the wind pressure behind her. Violent magical energy scattered from the Sword of Rupture in his hand along with Gilgamesh's words. Such violent magical energy gave all the Magi present goosebumps.

As the wind and magical energy arrived, Rin lay flat on the sandy ground, holding her head to prevent being blown away by the gale, and shouted at Gilgamesh in frustration.

"Ah, Gilgamesh, are you an idiot?! Wait until I'm further away before using it!"

But this complaint was destined not to reach Gilgamesh's ears. Because, with the activation of the Sword of Rupture, the earth began to tear and space began to shatter. A massive sound instantly drowned out everything. In this space formed by the Inherent Reality, only the sound of destruction remained.

The army of tens of thousands of Servants, along with the beginning of this world's destruction, continuously fell into the cracking earth, turning into countless spiritons, emitting their final radiance before vanishing.

Even so, the King of Conquerors did not stop his charging steps. Riding his beloved horse, he leaped over the chasms in the earth, his heart racing as he launched his conquest toward his goal.

Suddenly the scenery changed; the Inherent Reality had collapsed. Seeing the Zenjou Residence before him, the Great King slowly reined in his horse and looked at Gilgamesh, who was holding the Sword of Rupture level in front of him. At the same time, he caught sight of Rin lying on the ground holding her head. Seeing Rin's pathetic state, the King of Conquerors laughed loudly. 'To think that the Little Miss, who played everyone in the palm of her hand, could also look so pathetic!'

Waver lowered his left hand, which he had used to shield his eyes from the sand, and looked toward the laughing King of Conquerors, saying with concern.

"Rider..."

The King of Conquerors stopped laughing and looked at Waver with mutual understanding.

"Waver, now fulfill your duty as my subject. Live on, witness all of this, and tell the future generations of your King's spirit—the sight of me, Iskandar, galloping across the battlefield!"

Waver could no longer hold it back, tears welling in the corners of his eyes.

"Come, Bucephalus, let us set out."

The King of Conquerors gripped the reins with one hand and raised his sword. With a neigh from 'Bucephalus', the King of Conquerors began his final charge!

'Glory is on the other shore. It is precisely because it is unattainable that one must challenge it. Praise hegemony, manifest hegemony—all for the sake of the subjects watching from behind me!'

Looking at the Great King's back, Waver pulled himself together, wiped his tears away firmly with his sleeve, and stared resolutely at his King's retreating figure.

"Alalalalalalalala, Alalalala!"

Facing the Great King's final charge, a slight smile appeared on Gilgamesh's lips. Dozens of golden ripples appeared behind him, and one sharp Noble Phantasm after another projected out, shooting toward the King of Conquerors.

Facing the projected Noble Phantasms, the King of Conquerors let out a wild roar, swinging his own Noble Phantasm to parry the incoming blades. Mid-charge, his beloved horse fell. The King of Conquerors scrambled to his feet, brandishing his sword and continuing his stride. Whether his shoulder was pierced or his body impaled, it seemed nothing could stop his charge now, for glory lay on the other side!

Yet reality is always so cruel. Just as the King of Conquerors' sword was about to strike Gilgamesh, the Chains of Heaven—Gilgamesh's most cherished Noble Phantasm—bound the King of Conquerors, Son of Zeus, firmly before him.

"You really are something, pulling out these strange things one after another, gah!"

Gilgamesh gave the King of Conquerors no more chance to speak, thrusting the Sword of Rupture, Sword of Rupture, into his chest. Sword of Rupture pierced through the King of Conquerors' chest with ease.

"Have you awakened from your dream, King of Conquerors?"

The King of Conquerors weakly raised his head, looking Gilgamesh straight in the eye.

"Heh, a man's dream... never truly ends. king of heroes, this has been... a truly heart-pounding journey!"

"Is that so? King of Conquerors, I shall accept your challenge as many times as it takes. I will see you again in ten years!"

Then, with a forceful push, Gilgamesh shoved Sword of Rupture into the King of Conquerors' chest up to the hilt.

In a daze, the King of Conquerors seemed to see that turbulent, Endless Sea.

"I see, ten years... I look forward to it..."

Gilgamesh released the hilt of Sword of Rupture, silently watching as the King of Conquerors began to dissipate into spiritons. As the spiritons scattered into the world, Sword of Rupture also turned into a beam of light and returned to Gilgamesh's treasury.

Rin crossed her arms, silently watching the King of Conquerors vanish. 'A man's dream never ends? No, King of Conquerors, that is the dream of humanity! This world will face many calamities in the future, until the end of mankind on the Land of Steel... but I will definitely change all that. I, Tohsaka Rin, dream of becoming a Demon God!'

At that moment, Assassin turned around and looked at Rin, asking.

"Master, the only enemies left are these Masters. Should we eliminate them?"

Rin looked at the tense crowd and shook her head.

"No need, Semiramis. The Holy Grail War isn't over yet; there's one final step. These people still have some use."

Saying that, Rin gestured to Medea and Tokiomi to bring out the pre-prepared self-coercion documents and hand them to everyone present.

Tohsaka Tokiomi distributed the self-coercion documents alongside Medea, looking at his daughter with pride. The thought that the Tohsaka Family's long-held wish was about to be realized made his steps much lighter.

Forced by reality, everyone unwillingly signed the self-coercion documents, silently waiting for Rin's arrangements.

Irisviel suddenly clutched her heart and fell to the ground in pain. Kiritsugu Emiya rushed forward to support her, worried.

"Iri, is it the lesser grail?"

"Yes, Kiritsugu... it's fine. It's likely just caused by receiving four Servants at once in such a short time... Aaaah! Kiritsugu, run! Aaaah!"

Watching Irisviel push Kiritsugu Emiya away, Rin looked at her strangely. 'Did something go wrong with the lesser grail because it received four Heroic Spirits at once? Why did she tell Kiritsugu to run? That shouldn't happen; there was never any mention of this in the original story...'
