Ba Yun Island.
Inside the Delusion Factory.
Since Kujou Sara had once led Gorou and the others to destroy the Delusion Factory, the place was currently a mess, yet a purplish-pink gas still permeated the air.
"Do you really think she'll come to save you? She won't. In the eyes of a God, we are all the same." At this moment, a youth wearing a bamboo hat was walking around a young girl; he was the Fatui Harbinger, the Scaramouche, Scaramouche.
The one he was circling was a white-haired girl with a look of anger on her face.
She was none other than Kamisato Ayaka.
"We are nothing more than pawns to be discarded at will; they don't take us seriously at all." There was a hint of self-mockery in Scaramouche's tone. He had always felt like an abandoned child, that Raiden Ei didn't care about him at all, and he had wandered Inazuma for many years.
He had come to understand one truth: in this world, he could only trust himself, and his destiny could only be controlled by his own hands, no matter the cost.
"You..." Kamisato Ayaka was somewhat exasperated, her small face flushed with anger in her ice-blue eyes. "I won't believe a word you say."
"Makoto is completely different from what you say." What annoyed Kamisato Ayaka the most was Scaramouche speaking ill of Raiden Makoto. Raiden Makoto was the only bosom friend she recognized now, the person of destiny she had been waiting for.
She would not allow anyone to speak ill of Raiden Makoto in her presence.
"You're just talking about yourself, aren't you? You're just a brat who lacks love. What do you know?" For some reason, Kamisato Ayaka felt a voice in her mind influencing her.
That voice seemed to keep saying, "Be angry, be angry," but there was no one else present besides her and Scaramouche.
"You... damn it, what do YOU know?" Scaramouche barked at Kamisato Ayaka in anger, "You're just a little slip of a girl, what could you possibly know?"
"If she really cared about us, would she have abandoned me back then? Would she have allowed the Vision Hunt Decree to happen? She doesn't care about the lives of the people of Inazuma at all. Since she doesn't care, why should I?"
"Everything I do is for..." However, just as Scaramouche was about to speak, applause rang out within the Delusion Factory.
"Well said, Scaramouche." At that moment, Raiden Ei slowly walked over from the side, a murderous intent glinting in her eyes. "I should have scrapped you completely long ago."
"Allowing you to remain was already my greatest mercy."
The person who entered was the Raiden Shogun; Kamisato Ayaka recognized her at a glance. She then spotted Raiden Makoto behind the Raiden Shogun and felt a surge of joy.
"Makoto."
She knew Raiden Makoto would never abandon her.
Seeing the furious Raiden Ei, a flash of fear crossed Scaramouche's eyes, but he still forced himself to remain calm.
Raiden Makoto walked slowly to Kamisato Ayaka's side and patted her head. "Ayaka, hurry and get out of here... This place is filled with the resentment of a God; you might not be able to withstand it."
"Um..." Kamisato Ayaka cleared her head quite a bit. She nodded and ran toward the exit of the Delusion Factory, knowing that staying would only cause trouble.
"Makoto, you be careful too, he..."
Scaramouche retreated several steps under Raiden Ei's fierce gaze, then shouted toward the side, "Tartaglia?!"
"Tartaglia!"
However, no matter how much he called out, there was no sign of Tartaglia. Scaramouche's expression changed drastically.
Tartaglia had failed him!
"You want the Gnosis, but not to fulfill the Tsaritsa's orders, right?" Raiden Makoto walked slowly toward Scaramouche, her steady advance forcing the Scaramouche to retreat repeatedly.
"You plan to use the Gnosis to become the new Electro Archon yourself, don't you? Scaramouche..." Raiden Makoto's words made Scaramouche's composure crumble, and fear surfaced in his eyes.
"Do you think you can challenge the Majesty of Thunder by joining forces with Childe? You both think far too highly of yourselves."
"Is it because you obtained the Gnoses from Barbatos and Morax so easily that you think the Seven are easy to bully?"
"Do you really think I wouldn't dare strike a Fatui Harbinger? Do you think the Tsaritsa will protect you?"
"Signora is already dead. I killed her." Raiden Makoto's face was now completely cold, a far cry from her usual gentle, smiling self.
She was truly, thoroughly angry.
If Scaramouche had been a bit more well-behaved and obedient, she might have actually let him stay and reformed him.
But now, Scaramouche's core was rotten to the very end.
Due to Raiden Makoto's anger, thunder began to roar all around, and the air was filled with electric arcs.
To the side, Raiden Ei shrunk her neck and cautiously took a few steps back. She felt that her sister's angry appearance was truly terrifying.
She had rarely seen her sister this angry before.
"There is only one end for those who act willfully in Inazuma."
With the appearance of Musou Isshin, endless lightning erupted in an instant. Under that strike, Scaramouche's expression changed wildly as he lost his composure.
However, before he could escape, the infinite lightning reduced Scaramouche to ashes in the next second. Like Signora, he was completely annihilated within the thunder.
The God's resentment in the area also vanished into nothingness at that moment, and the ground even shook from the force of that single strike.
"Ei, what do you think?" As Raiden Makoto sheathed Musou Isshin and turned toward Raiden Ei, a gentle smile curled at the corners of her mouth.
However, that smile made Raiden Ei shudder.
"Sister... I..."
"Blaming everything on the Shogun at Tenshukaku, and blaming everything on Scaramouche here."
"Have you never realized your own mistakes?" The gentler Raiden Makoto's smile became, the more alarmed Raiden Ei felt.
Because she knew that the angrier her sister was, the gentler her smile would become.
"It's time to make you properly realize your mistakes."
If a child really doesn't realize their mistakes, then the only way is to give them a good beating. She spoiled her sister too much, but she had no choice—who told her sister to be so disobedient?
"Sister... no... I was wrong!"
Outside the Delusion Factory, Kamisato Ayaka felt the earth shaking, and a worried expression appeared on her face.
"Waaaah... it hurts... Sister, be gentler!"
"Ah!"
"I know I was wrong, waaaah..."
"Eh..." Kamisato Ayaka vaguely seemed to hear crying and shouting coming from inside the Delusion Factory? And that voice seemed a bit familiar, like the Shogun's? But how could the Shogun be crying and throwing a tantrum?
"What's going on? What happened..."
