Chapter 72 - What A Cheat

West District, Orario.

A burly Dwarf, his waist thick, kept moving in and out of the wine cellar, loading crates of divine liquor onto a carriage.

Only after filling the carriage did he stop and look towards the Palum Girl not far away.

"Lili, the liquor is ready."

"Thank you for your hard work, Mr. Welf."

Lili walked over to check the situation.

After more than ten days of preparation, today was the opening day of the first Hestia Restaurant.

To ensure a continuous supply, she had dragged Welf and members of the Soma Familia to the wine cellar to move the divine liquor before dawn.

Her gaze swept over the several carriages before her. After confirming there were no issues, Lili made a checkmark in the small notebook in her hand.

"Mr. Welf, I'll leave it to you to transport the liquor to the restaurant."

"No problem."

Welf nodded.

After the War Game ended, Zanis was expelled from the Soma Familia by Soma and thrown into the Guild's Dungeon.

As the only remaining LV2 in the Soma Familia, Welf became the familia's captain and also took on the role of logistics staff for Hestia Restaurant.

Every day, besides supervising the renovation progress, he often ran errands for Lili and Lynn, handling various miscellaneous tasks.

Although the workload had increased considerably, Welf had no complaints.

The reason was simple: Lynn offered him sufficient compensation—divine liquor.

"I'm off."

Taking a swig from the flask at his waist, Welf waved goodbye to Lili, boarded the carriage, and headed towards the restaurant.

After seeing Welf off, Lili didn't stop. She took the Soma Familia members to the Demeter Familia.

Only after ensuring the ingredients delivered today were fresh enough did she finish her work and head towards the Hestia Familia.

After a busy morning, the sun had risen above the horizon, and the number of people passing through the streets had increased.

Returning all the way to the Hestia Familia, Lili pushed open the mansion's main door and headed towards the second floor.

"Lili is back!"

The Palum Girl's voice echoed in the hallway.

A few seconds later, Hestia poked her head out of a room. "Welcome back, Lili."

"Good morning, Goddess Hestia."

Seeing the room door open, Lili walked in very naturally to take a look.

"Huh? Lord Lynn isn't here?"

"Lynn? He left before dawn. Before leaving, he even had me update his blessing."

As she said this, Hestia seemed to remember something, and her expression turned subtle.

"Lili, it seems Lynn did something remarkable last night."

"Uh, last night?"

Lili instinctively tensed up. "What happened? What did Lord Lynn do?"

"I don't know the specifics, but when I updated his blessing this morning, he had accumulated enough for a deed."

Accumulated enough for a deed?

Lili breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, it wasn't about her relationship with Lynn... Huh?

"Accumulated enough for a deed?!"

"Yes, accumulated enough for a deed."

Hestia looked at the Palum Girl. "Lili, after I got up, I thought about it. Lynn went out with you for a few hours last night after updating his blessing. Do you know something about it?"

"This... In Lili's memory, Lord Lynn didn't do anything last night that could be called a deed." Lili replied, feeling somewhat guilty.

The reason Lynn went out last night was mainly because she had been craving chicken recently.

Ever since Hestia returned from the Hephaestus Familia, Lili had lost her alone-time privileges.

Whenever she got intimate with Lynn, Hestia would pop out from a corner to join in.

Once or twice was fine, but every time? Lili couldn't stand it anymore.

Fortunately, yesterday's workload was light, so she dragged Lynn outside to relieve some pressure.

As for why Lynn accumulated enough for a deed, she had no idea.

It couldn't be that they achieved a deed just because they... played a bit wild, could it? That would be too absurd.

Shaking her head to dispel these strange thoughts, Lili looked at the loli goddess before her.

"Goddess Hestia, if you want to know the truth, it's better to ask Lord Lynn directly."

"I did ask, but he wouldn't tell me. He just spouted nonsense about it being the reward for sleeping hard."

"Oh... That kind of baffling reply really sounds like Lord Lynn's style."

"Right? So, I didn't ask further. I just went back to bed and slept some more."

Hestia took out a blue ribbon and tied her still-loose hair into twin tails. "Speaking of which, what did you two do last night?"

"Uh, that's... a secret."

"A secret?"

Hestia's gaze suddenly turned sharp.

Her intuition told her that Lili seemed to be hiding some incredible secret.

But just as she was about to press further, Lynn's voice suddenly came from the hallway.

"Hestia, breakfast is ready."

"Lord Lynn! Good morning!"

As if seeing a savior, Lili darted out of the room into the hallway.

"Huh? Lili, you're back already?"

"Yes! All the divine liquor and ingredients needed for today's opening are prepared!"

"You've worked hard."

Lynn patted Lili's head. "Since you're back, let's eat together."

"There's also a guest here. She'll be working with us today."

"A guest?"

"Yes, right over there."

Lynn pointed to a corner not far away.

Only then did Lili notice a Blonde Girl standing in the corner of the second floor.

The moment she clearly saw the other's face, Lili's eyes suddenly widened, and she let out a surprised exclamation.

"Huh?!"

"What's wrong? Why such a loud shout?"

End of translation for this section.

Hestia happened to walk out of the room at that moment.

Hearing Lili's startled cry, a look of confusion appeared on her face as she followed the other's gaze toward the corner.

Huh?!!

Hestia and Lili were perfectly synchronized.

Recognizing the identity of the Blonde Girl, she quickly grabbed Lynn's arm, her expression full of vigilance.

"I remember you're the Sword Princess from Loki Familia, right! What are you doing here so early in the morning!"

"She's here to learn the Ripple."

Before Aiz could reply, Lynn's voice rang out first.

"I think I mentioned this to you before."

"Hmm... I do seem to have some impression of that."

Hestia belatedly realized.

"So, you're here to learn the Breathing Technique?"

Aiz nodded silently: "I was learning the Breathing Technique with Lynn in the backyard this morning. After that, he invited me to be a greeter."

"A greeter?"

Hestia looked at Lynn.

"Did you forget? Today is the opening day of Hestia Restaurant." Lynn pointed at the work uniform Lili had already changed into.

"It's a rare opportunity. I plan to have Aiz work as a temporary greeter for the day to help attract customers."

Because she possessed both beauty and strength, Aiz was quite famous in Orario.

She wouldn't need to do anything; just standing at the entrance in the right outfit would be enough to draw in customers.

"To actually invite the Sword Princess to be a greeter... As expected of Lord Lynn, you are truly amazing."

Having regained her composure, Lili expressed her amazement at Lynn's act of inviting Aiz to work.

This was a First-Class Adventurer.

Even if it was just for a single day, it could still bring immense fame to Hestia Restaurant.

However, ...

"Won't there be any problems with Loki Familia?"

"No problems."

Aiz replied with a calm expression.

She didn't need to do anything. Just standing there and nodding would earn her 500,000 Valis.

If she explained properly after returning, Finn and Riveria should be able to understand... probably.
