Kael flexed his freed hands. His white hair fell past his shoulders, swaying gently as he rolled his neck. He focused inward, finding the Asura bloodline sitting hot and restless in his veins. He pushed it down, suppressing it. The horns on his temples receded—CRACK, SHRINK—sinking back into his skull until his forehead was smooth again. Then he focused on the Astraeon bloodline, the primordial darkness that was his birthright. He pulled it inward, compressing it, dialing back its external manifestation. His white hair shifted—COLOR—the white draining from the roots downward, replaced by dark black, until his natural color returned.
He looked like Kael Cassian Vorn again.
