Kael's ship descended through Starfall City's atmosphere, engines humming with quiet power. Sophie waited at the landing pad, elegant in a beautiful thin green dress, her storm-cloud eyes finding him immediately.
She delivered the news quickly as she said, "The ship is exactly as you asked. Also, the route has been secured and when this ship is leaving the thirteen worlds system, nobody will know it's you. Especially those your annoying siblings as they might try to kill you."
Kael thanked her and kissed her cheek. "Thank you but you didn't have to come personally."
"I wanted to see you."
Sophie held his hand. Her head rested against his chest. "Don't leave yet. If you leave, I'm going to miss you a lot."
Kael smirked. "I'm only going to be gone for a year or two. I'll be back."
He pulled her into a hug. Sophie froze, her face pressing into his chest, breathing in his scent as her panties became wet just from his scent.
