The building crumbled to dust.
Stone and metal collapsed inward as the concentrated lightning vaporized the structure's core supports. The shockwave flattened everything within a fifty-meter radius—bandits, furniture, weapons, all reduced to ash and debris.
Silence fell over the eastern slums.
Then Kael's soldiers erupted in cheers.
"Young Master is incredible!"
"That lightning—gods, I've never seen anything like it!"
"Bloodfang is gone. Just like that!"
Kael descended slowly, lightning fading from his hands. The attack had cost significantly—nearly fifteen percent of his mana reserves—but the efficiency was improving. Four month ago, the same technique would have drained twice as much.
"Clean up the survivors," he ordered. "Anyone still breathing gets questioned, then executed if they resist."
The soldiers dispersed.
Then an aura flared from the rubble.
