The war room of Kael's mansion in Starfall City was modest compared to the Vorn Estate's facilities, but it served its purpose. A central table dominated the space, covered in maps and intelligence reports. Six chairs surrounded it.
Kael entered with Lira at his heels.
"Greetings, my lord."
The response came in unison—Yuki Tanaka, Vyra Sable, Gerard, Bruski, and Kelvin.
Kael waved them down and took his seat at the head of the table. "Report."
Vyra stepped forward, activating a holographic display. Trevor City materialized above the table—a sprawling urban maze three times the size of Starfall City, marked with colored zones indicating different power territories.
"The Shadow Hounds have completed their reconnaissance," Vyra began. "Trevor City is divided into several power zones, but the two most significant are controlled by guilds."
She highlighted the first zone—a fortified compound in the city's northern district.
