Tara turned to look at Cain, confused by what he had just said. She looked at him, confusion clear in her expression, as she said, "If I remember clearly, you and I are not that close, and even if we were, it was only the relationship of a savior and the saved. So, Mr. Wood, please don't cross the line."
"What line am I crossing, Tara?" Cain asked as he looked intently at Tara.
Tara did not reply immediately. She looked at him, then replied, "You know better than I do what I mean."
"No, I don't," Cain replied deadpan.
