Chapter 34 - CHAPTER 34 : The Truth Heaven Buried.

The Heavenly Realm had always been silent.

Orderly.

Perfect.

At least

That was the lie it told itself.

Lian Yue stared at the man standing before her.

He wasn't supposed to be here.

No one had seen him for centuries.

And yet

There he was.

Smiling.

"...Do they know the truth about Lin Mo yet?"

Silence followed.

Heavy.

Dangerous.

Lian Yue narrowed her eyes.

"...You shouldn't be here."

The man laughed softly.

"...That's not an answer."

A pause.

"...Jin Luo."

His smile widened slightly.

"...It's been a long time."

Lian Yue didn't return the greeting.

Because she knew exactly who he was.

Someone who asked questions Heaven hated.

Someone who disappeared after the judgment.

Someone who knew far too much.

"...Why did you come back?"

Jin Luo looked toward the mortal world below.

"...Because history is repeating itself."

The words landed heavily.

"...And because Wei Tian is making the same mistake."

Lian Yue's expression tightened.

"...You know something."

"...I know many things."

Silence.

Then

"...Including what really happened."

For the first time

Lian Yue felt uneasy.

Because she had always suspected it.

Suspected there was more.

More than punishment.

More than a forbidden relationship.

Elsewhere

Wei Tian stood before the Heavenly Council.

The atmosphere was tense.

Unusually tense.

"...The awakening has accelerated."

No one interrupted.

No one dared.

"...We can no longer allow the mortal vessel to remain unstable."

One elder frowned.

"...And if Lin Mo remembers everything?"

Silence filled the chamber.

Cold silence.

Then

Wei Tian answered.

"...He won't."

The certainty in his voice disturbed several of them.

Because it sounded less like confidence

And more like a threat.

Back in the mortal world

Xu Lin couldn't sleep.

Again.

The dream still lingered.

That face.

His face.

"...You."

The word echoed endlessly.

How could that person be him?

How?

Xu Lin sat alone on a rooftop.

The city lights stretched endlessly below.

But his thoughts remained elsewhere.

"...You shouldn't be alone."

The voice was familiar now.

Xu Lin didn't even turn around.

"...You're stalking me."

A faint laugh.

"...Maybe."

Mo Xuan stepped beside him.

For a moment

Neither spoke.

Only the wind moved.

"...Was it true?"

Xu Lin finally asked.

Mo Xuan remained silent.

"...The person in the dream."

A pause.

"...Was that me?"

The silence lasted too long.

Then

"...Yes."

Xu Lin's chest tightened.

Because part of him had hoped otherwise.

"...Then who was I?"

Mo Xuan looked toward the stars.

His expression unreadable.

"...Someone brighter than Heaven itself."

Xu Lin frowned.

"...That sounds ridiculous."

"...And yet they feared you."

The words came quietly.

Honestly.

Xu Lin stared at him.

"...Why?"

A long pause.

Then

"...Because you asked questions."

Silence.

"...Questions they couldn't answer."

Xu Lin laughed weakly.

"...That's enough to terrify Heaven?"

For the first time

Mo Xuan looked directly at him.

"...You have no idea."

Something about that answer felt wrong.

Not because it sounded false.

Because it sounded true.

Far away

Deep within a forgotten ruin hidden between realms

Several figures stood in darkness.

Watching.

Waiting.

The same strange presence from before filled the air.

"...His memories are returning."

One figure nodded.

"...Faster than expected."

Another voice spoke.

"...And the demon remains at his side."

Silence.

Then

A woman stepped forward.

Unlike the others

Her face was visible.

Beautiful.

Cold.

Ancient.

"...Let him remember."

The others turned toward her.

"...My Lady?"

A faint smile appeared.

Dangerous.

"...Because once Lin Mo remembers the truth..."

Her eyes gleamed.

"...He'll hate Heaven more than any of us ever could."

Silence followed.

Satisfied silence.

Because they all knew

The coming storm was no longer avoidable.

And somewhere above

Heaven was beginning to realize it too.

Some truths are hidden for a reason...

And some are buried because they could destroy everything. 🖤🔥
