Chapter 392 - Chapter 1: “Aftermath Repair”

The ocean was calm again.

The beach… was not.

Craters. Broken resort structures. Split shoreline.

Everything looked like the world had been folded and stomped flat.

Takeru stood at the center of it all.

Still soaked in saltwater.

Still stained with blood that wasn't all his.

Still silent.

Then he exhaled.

Just once.

His cursed energy surged outward.

Not violent.

Not destructive.

Controlled.

Precise.

The air around the island shimmered.

Sand lifted.

Cracks in the ground began to close.

Broken wood reformed.

Collapsed structures rose back into place like time was reversing.

Yuji's eyes widened.

"…He's fixing it."

Megumi stared.

"…He's fixing everything."

Gojo leaned forward slightly, unusually quiet.

Satoru Gojo

"…That level of output… after all that?"

Geto narrowed his eyes.

Suguru Geto

"…He's restoring structural damage and spatial distortion at the same time."

Nanami exhaled slowly.

Kento Nanami

"…That's not recovery. That's rewriting."

Higaruma didn't respond at first.

Just watched the sand rebuild itself in silence.

Hiromi Higuruma

"…He shouldn't still have that much left."

Fred slowly raised a sign.

It read:

"Maintenance arc?"

Takeru stepped forward into the water.

The waves parted slightly around him as he walked.

He kept going until he was waist-deep.

Then chest-deep.

The cursed energy in the air stabilized.

The island finally looked… whole again.

Like nothing had ever happened.

Takeru nodded once.

"…Good."

Then his legs stopped.

No dramatic collapse.

No warning.

Just—

sudden stillness.

His body tilted forward slightly.

Yuji reacted instantly.

"…Takeru!"

But before anyone could reach him—

he dropped into the water.

No splash of panic.

Just a quiet fall into the sea.

Silence.

Megumi froze.

"…He just—"

Gojo vanished forward immediately.

Geto followed.

Nanami moved without thinking.

They reached the water—

and pulled him up.

Takeru's eyes were closed.

Breathing steady.

But unconscious.

Hakari exhaled sharply.

"…He overdid it."

Kirara nodded.

"…Yeah. That's new."

Fred slowly lowered his sign.

It now read:

"Even monsters need rest."

The island was repaired.

The fight was over.

But for the first time—

Takeru wasn't the one standing.
