Chapter 70 - Chapter 4: The Explanation Nobody Asked For

The classroom stayed quiet for exactly two seconds.

Then Takeru spoke.

"…Sukuna controlled this body."

A pause.

"…So I manifested a new one."

Panda slowly turned his head.

"…You what now?"

Takeru continued, completely calm.

"…I beat up that body so much that almost my entire spine and internal structure were compromised."

Maki blinked.

"…That is NOT something you say casually."

Yuta straightened immediately.

"…You did what to your body?"

Inumaki lifted his sleeve slightly.

"…Tuna…"

(that sounds medically alarming)

Hakari leaned forward.

"…Okay, I need the highlight reel."

Takeru nodded once, like he was summarizing a training session.

"…I used Idle Death Gamble."

A beat.

"…Hit multiple jackpot states."

Hakari's eyes lit up instantly.

"…Oh NOW we're talking."

Takeru continued.

"…I also used 'Idle Death Gamble' output compression—"

Hakari interrupted immediately.

"…Gam—what?"

"…Gamblue I Call It."

Takeru corrected without hesitation.

Silence.

Panda slowly raised a hand.

"…We're just making words up now?"

Takeru ignored that.

"…I achieved twenty consecutive Black Flashes."

The room froze.

Yuta blinked.

"…Twenty… in a row?"

Maki's expression tightened slightly.

"…That's not normal."

Hakari whistled low.

"…That's actually insane luck OR insane timing."

Takeru nodded.

"…Both."

He continued.

"…I utilized Sukuna's techniques, Hakari's domain output, Gojo's cursed energy structure, and Megumi's Ten Shadows system."

Silence again.

Panda slowly leaned back in his chair.

"…That sentence should not exist."

Inumaki lowered his sleeve.

"…Salmon…"

(that sounds like illegal synergy)

Yuta looked genuinely concerned now.

"…You combined all of that in one fight?"

Takeru nodded again.

"…Correct."

Maki exhaled sharply through her nose.

"…And your spine survived that… how?"

Takeru paused.

Then:

"…It did not."

Dead silence.

Hakari tilted his head.

"…Wait so you're just—what—held together by willpower right now?"

"…Shoko."

Takeru answered.

Panda pointed immediately.

"…That's worse somehow."

Takeru leaned back slightly in his seat.

His bandages shifted faintly under the strain of memory alone.

"…Result was successful."

Yuta looked at him carefully.

"…That doesn't sound like success. That sounds like aftermath."

Takeru nodded once.

"…Accurate."

Maki crossed her arms again.

"…So basically you almost destroyed yourself, stole half our techniques, and won by brute forcing reality."

Takeru thought for a moment.

"…Simplified… yes."

Hakari grinned.

"…Honestly? Respect."

Panda immediately turned.

"…NO, DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM!"

Inumaki added quietly.

"…Tuna mayo…"

(please stop making this normal)

Takeru glanced around the room.

Everyone was still staring.

Some impressed.

Some horrified.

All confused.

Then he added, almost casually:

"…I will not be repeating that exact method."

Maki narrowed her eyes.

"…Good."

Panda nodded firmly.

"…Thank you."

Hakari shrugged.

"…Boring, but understandable."

Yuta let out a small relieved breath.

"…That's probably for the best."

Inumaki lowered his sleeve again.

"…Okaka."

(thank god)

Takeru leaned forward slightly, resting his arms on the desk.

Still wrapped.

Still recovering.

Still very much not normal.

"…However."

A pause.

"…I have retained the techniques."

The entire room went silent again.

Maki slowly turned her head.

"…You what?"

Hakari's grin widened.

"…Oh, this guy is gonna be a problem forever."

Panda groaned.

"…We're doomed."

And Takeru, completely calm, simply added:

"…Training efficiency has increased."
