The afternoon sun hung lazily over Tokyo Jujutsu High.
For once—no alarms.No curses.No near-death experiences.
…Yet.
"Alright, listen up!"
The classroom door slammed open as Satoru Gojo walked in, way too energetic as usual.
Nobara didn't even look up. "…What now."
Yuji leaned back in his chair. "If this is another mission—"
"It's not!" Gojo said cheerfully.
A pause.
"…That's worse," Megumi muttered.
Gojo clapped his hands together. "I've decided it's time for you three to meet some upperclassmen."
"Took you long enough," Maki said from the window.
Yuji blinked. "Wait, there are more of you?"
"…Unfortunately," Nobara added.
Gojo grinned. "Specifically—Kinji Hakari and Kirara Hoshi."
Megumi's expression shifted slightly. "…Hakari?"
Gojo nodded. "Yep! Suspended. Strong. Problematic. You'll love him."
"…That sounds like a warning," Yuji said.
"It is!" Gojo replied happily.
Takeru, sitting quietly as usual, adjusted his sunglasses. "…Why now?"
Gojo's grin didn't fade—but his tone did, just slightly.
"…Because things are getting bigger."
A beat.
"…And you're gonna need stronger allies."
Silence settled for a moment.
Then—
"Cool," Yuji said.
"…Idiot," Nobara muttered.
Later…
The location wasn't part of the school.
Not even close.
An underground fight club.
Loud.Crowded.Chaotic.
"…This is illegal," Megumi said flatly.
"Definitely illegal," Takeru added.
Yuji looked around, wide-eyed. "…This is AWESOME."
Nobara smirked. "Now this is more like it."
Gojo waved casually. "Alright, go find them. I'll… supervise."
"…You're not coming with us?" Megumi asked.
"Nope!"
"…Of course not," Megumi sighed.
Inside, the atmosphere hit instantly—
Cheers.Shouting.The sound of fists hitting flesh.
And then—
At the center of it all—
A man stood victorious in a ring.
Tall.Confident.Smirking like he owned the place.
Hakari.
"…That's him," Megumi said quietly.
Beside him—
Another figure leaned casually against the barrier.
Stylish.Calm.Watching everything closely.
Kirara.
Yuji waved immediately. "HEY!"
Megumi grabbed his shoulder. "…Don't just—"
Too late.
Hakari's eyes snapped toward them.
"…Huh?"
A grin spread across his face.
"…Well, well…"
He hopped down from the ring, walking toward them like he already knew this would be interesting.
"…Fresh faces," Hakari said.
"…You from Jujutsu High?"
Megumi nodded slightly. "…We're first-years."
Hakari laughed. "First-years? You look like you've seen some stuff."
Yuji grinned. "Yeah, we kinda almost died a few times."
"…That tracks," Hakari said.
Kirara stepped forward, eyes scanning them carefully.
"…These are the ones Gojo mentioned?"
Takeru's gaze met theirs briefly.
"…Probably."
There was a short pause.
Then—
Yuji blinked.
"…Wait."
Nobara tilted her head. "…What?"
Yuji leaned closer to Megumi. "…I thought Kirara was—"
Megumi sighed quietly. "…Don't."
Too late.
Takeru stepped forward slightly—
A slow grin spreading across his face.
He looked at Hakari.
"…Well hey."
A beat.
"…You can't roll slots…"
Another beat.
"…without a lever!"
Silence.
Then—
Takeru laughed.
Yuji burst out laughing immediately. "NAH—"
Nobara doubled over. "OH MY GOD—"
Megumi covered his face. "…We just got here…"
Hakari blinked once.
Then twice.
Then—
He grinned.
"…I like this guy."
Kirara rolled their eyes. "…Idiots."
But there was the faintest hint of a smile.
Hakari cracked his knuckles.
"…Alright, first-years."
His grin widened.
"…Let's see if you're actually worth something."
The noise of the arena surged again.
Takeru adjusted his sunglasses.
Still smiling slightly.
"…Guess we're doing this."
